In Which The Masses Answer Magolor04726's Questions About Smash

Hatsune Miku. She still exists as a character within a computer program, and she's appeared in multiple video games on top of being incredibly recognizable. I think her inclusion would likely make the most sense out of any "fourth party" pick (if you could say that any fourth party pick would make sense)

Gordon Ramsay and Eli Ayase.

Tbh I'd be down for someone like, idk, Koro-Sensei I guess.

Moveset potential is there too.

yea i was about to suggest ralph. hes actually like, video game themed so it fits the most thematically or whatever i feel

I'm running out of ideas...
If someone said, "I want ______ in Smash." and your reaction was, "Dear gosh please no." who would ______ be?
Bowsette, no contest.
(I don't think I have to say this, but please don't hate on what other people think.)

Any variant of Peach. Peachette, Pink Gold Peach, Baby Peach, I could go on for a while.

-Any character from Fire Emblem

Allow me to introduce myself

Now if there was a character like that... well generally I never hate someone for getting in, no matter how much I didn't want them (or as other people put it, "nobody asked for them", which is an absurd claim to make). When a character is announced I know they have fans. How would they have made it in Smash then? Yes, even Geno or Waluigi, some people like them, although I am not keen on either of them joining the roster. But I'm mostly just ok with anything.

I agree somewhat, there aren't many people who I don't want in Smash. It's more like I don't care who it is, so long as they're fun to play as. Like Terry. Never heard of him till he was announced, and I love playing as him.

Hating characters in Smash is overrated.
this honestly. theres too many people in the smash community hating on other characters for the heck of it and finding any excuses to say theyre "deconfirmed" (even though said reasons havent prevented all the other newcomers from getting in!!!) though then again its the smash community
though to be honest theres still some characters im kinda iffy on the idea of them getting in. like, from (fake) leaks, an overwatch or danganronpa or league of legends rep..

Wreck-it Ralph, probably. At least he's appeared in a few games.
This, or Spongebob.

Toad, more FE characters, this was also Daisy prior to Ultimate

People like Bowsette or Mai from King of Fighters would make me cringe pretty bad.

Any hyper-sexualized characters such as Mai can stay out of Smash. Bayonetta and Zamus are fine.

If you had to remove five characters from Smash, who would you remove?
1. Bayonetta.
2. Joker. (He's fun, but he employs a demon...)
3. Rosalina & Luma (I suck as this duo)
4. Lucina (I got Marth, that's all I need.)
5. Mewtwo (I cannot figure that guy out.)

id prob punt a buncha clones that have similar movesets to another fighter anyway so their mains dont lose out too much. id feel bad doing this regardless

But he's one of the unique ones, isn't he? I'm genuinely curious as to why you'd remove him and not, say, Chrom.

Anyway who I think Smash can do without:

-Lucina.
-Chrom.
-G&W (Although that's just my bias speaking).
-Is Olimar relevant anymore? I just forget he exists.
-Dark Pit.

Although I wouldn't actually delete them because everyone has fans. I'd sooner let the devs do the dirty deed.

Maybe Zero Suit Samus? She was only added to fill the quotas of a female character, and Metroid character, though I'd rather not remove her as she has a unique moveset. Besides that, I guess Daisy as she's the same as Peach, and maybe Dark Samus? Though Zero Suit Samus would have to be kept then so there's enough Metroid characters. I'd keep Richter as he represents the MetroidVania part of CastleVania, having just Simon ignores the games the series is famous for. I'd keep Lucina and Chrom as their different enough for me to be fine with them. Perhaps Dark Pit could also go? Though his Neutral-B and Side-B are different so...

Overall I might remove a few clones if I could, but I feel they're harmless enough that I'd be fine with them staying in Smash. I'd rather not remove unique characters, as they have fans and I'd rather not remove characters that people like with no replacement for some dumb arbitrary reason such as "anime swordsman bad".

Instead my answer for this question is the same as the previous one:
Hating characters in Smash is overrated.

It's really because I cannot for the life of me tell Marth and Ike apart. Plus I remember you saying that Chrom was not the player avatar, and he and Lucina I think are the only ones who aren't.

But in retrospect? Probably should have removed Roy instead, although that ruins the hilarity of the tonal difference of the announcer.
