You explicitly say to call you if there's something strange in my neighborhood and if there is something weird and it don't look good but you only deal with ghosts? Who am I supposed to call when there are streakers here?

Well now Boo1268 got inspired by this and wants me to campaign in the awards AGAIN this year.
DryBonesBandit2-4.png-1.png.png

Now honestly I still dont understand why, all I do is guard the Lich Yard each day, protecting it from outsiders who want to make trouble, while also dealing with unruly spirits, sure ive gone on lots of adventures, helped defeat a pure evil being, plus I also participated in a killing game, but even still people have done MUCH more impressive things than I have!

But...I know I cant stop you guys, so if you want to vote for me, but at the very least if you do, do it for Boo won't ya? He deserves it more than I do.

Not speaking in an official capacity here, just as a member of the community - I'm glad you're excited about the Community Awards, but I wouldn't consider doing something like this to be in good taste. It's one thing to campaign for a specific nominee in the Mario or Fail Awards, where the votes you might get from that are just a drop in the bucket and ultimately the final results don't really matter that much. It's another thing entirely to do it in the Community Awards where you're trying to push yourself/your creations ahead of other users and their works. I understand that may not actively be your intention, but in effect it's what's happening. There are many talented creators in this community and it's not fair to them if certain nominees are getting more votes because someone's actively trying to get people to vote for them, rather than just letting the quality of the work stand on its own. On the flipside, it's also worth considering that some people may be turned away by this approach and decide not to vote for something on principle because someone was asking for votes.

Well thats why im being modest, while I do want people to vote for him they dont have too, infact i recognize that some people dont want to vote for me, and thats fine, I expect him to get outvoted at the end of the day, if anything I would just be happy if he made it to fifth place.
people leaving google for duckduckgo because of the AI shit in google do understand that DDG has that shit too right?

'oh but it's optional in DDG'!

okay and like 99% of the people i see complaining about it in google don't want it even if it's optional so why go to something that also has it lmao

Because its a good search engine. The option to turn something off makes a huge difference

i don't want the option to turn something off, i don't want it to be a thing at ALL.

Guys I was curious about how many OCS WT has made, I soon found myself down a rabbit hole and it turns out....WT has 149 Characters most of those being OCs. THE MAN IS A MADMAN
Edit: Update I have just confirmed by WT its 157 now.

fun fact about this song, as a kid i thought the brave little toaster invented it, so when i heard it in the background in short circuit 2 i thought it was a brave little toaster reference (ironically those two movies were only a year apart)

It rocked my world as a kid to find out that Rascal Flatts weren't the original creators of Life Is a Highway so it seems like that's just a thing that happens as a kid. Hear a song in a movie, assume it was made for the movie.

Can someone explain this glitch I found playing the NES version of Donkey Kong? I was simply climbing up the ladder, a barrel rolled, and then that happened.

Yeah, I knew it was a glitch, I was just wondering why that was happening.
I saw a Hooded Pitohui on my walk earlier today!
Well, since everyone is doing it, I might as well give my share of the season's greetings and say: Happy Pride Month, y'all. Since I sexually identify as bi-curious asexual, I hope this month will be just as much of a celebration for you as it is for me. 😄
having a banned user be the author of the ban log thread is pretty funny ngl

Eh, no need to unpin it. Useful if it's a big name ban.

But yeah, he's been a ticking time bomb elsewhere so it was preemptive.

Should we maybe redo a new Ban Log thread so he's not the author of it similar to how we got a new poll discussion thread just to boot Alex off the pinned thread list?

That's actually a fair thought. I'll copy the formatting and make one over later.
Do yall ever feel like your the only one putting effort into reviving an ask thread? Cause thats what it feels like for me sometimes, like in not trying to make other people feel bad about it, im just saying it feels that way sometimes.

To be upfront with you, if you're feeling that way, maybe it's because the other person doesn't have interest anymore? And if that's the case, then there's no need to continue returning to it. People will return to threads like that to post in them if they're interested, and if they aren't, there's nothing you can really do about it. Probably better to be hands off instead of continuing to poke at them.

Fresh out of responding questions: I'm going to speak for myself but it's just a lot of effort writing responses. I'm quite a busy person, and today just so happened to be my day off and I'm like, you know what, maybe I can work through the backlog.

I still love receiving questions in my ask thread, though! Just because I didn't get around to it doesn't mean I have ignored it, so continue to ask away if you want!
