I was blown away by that routine because it made use of cyber-punk-meets-techno music, and the dancers shouted for joy as they did energetic moves all around the stage. It made me dump PlayStation for Nintendo, and realize the impact Mario made in the gaming world. I keep expressing that on Facebook but almost nobody can relate. So this forum feels like the perfect platform for me to engage in conversations with other lovers of this franchise!

hi~

i'm a fan of nintendo as a whole, with Pokemon and Zelda being my favourite series but at the same time Mario has been one of the most consistent series in my life, and of course I love all things cute, charming, and with that signature Nintendo whimsy.

I just joined kind of recently and am exploring the forum still. I hope to be an illustrator/visual designer someday and a lot of my personal work is inspired by Nintendo games. I'm sort of getting back into art after high school kind of... took the creativity out of me, but slowly i'll get better with practice!

Oh and some of my favourite Mario games are in my signature but: Sunshine, Odyssey, and Paper Mario (64!) are at the top of my list!

I'm new here (just registered today - May 20th!) and just jumping back into playing the games since receiving a Nintendo Switch Lite as a gift. I used to play Mario when I was a kid and am getting back into them as an adult. I wanted to interact with some of the fans and make some new friends this time along the way though. My top 5 favorite games were: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, and Super Mario Galaxy. I'm currently playing through Super Mario Bros U Deluxe and a bit at Super Mario 3D All-Stars!

Thanks for the welcome! I do love my new Switch Lite, but it does hurt my hands if I am playing too long while relaxing, which does make me feel meh. I still love it though. Maybe at some point, I'll get the real version that'll let me dock it and play with the Joycon on a television.

So on another forum, I met a Mario Boards User, I was like " What a forum for Mario fans, that sounds cool! "
The thing is I heard of it when I was 12 ( I only turned 13 today lol ) so I couldn't join due to the site's rules
In the meantime, I just sort of lurked the site and read threads and stuff
I went to read the roleplay section because 1. I'm a role player myself, 2. I love reading roleplays
I looked at the sticky threads and what do I see? The Mushroom city carwash
Boy, the thing was massive
I had a few months until my b-day so I started to read the whole thing
It was a really fun read!
I'd say my favorite characters in it were the protectors

Speaking of the Mushroom City Carwash and The Protectors, You may know me from the fandom wiki the roleplay has

Hi all! I've been a fan of the Marioverse for almost my entire life. Favorite games in the series are probably Super Mario RPG and the original Paper Mario. I was also semi-active on Lemmy's Land way back in the mid 2000s, and a lot of the fan works there really captured my imagination.

    Hello! I'm a 19 year old from that one Southeast Asia country who's into Mario and tech stuff!
    I'm mostly active on Discord and Twitter, so I might not be active much here, but I'd at least try not to leave this dormant!
  • Most of the time I make renders in Blender with premade models, but sometimes I edit them to some degree. I'm not exactly keen in modeling, rigging, or animating, but I do have a little bit on those skills. I also do graphic design (usually UI design or TV graphics mockups) as well.
    • Mario franchise, obviously! Though due to the fact that I don't own any consoles besides a broken Game Boy Advance SP (please read the disclaimer under that image), my exposure to the games is rather limited, and as such, I kinda doubt I'd be able to interact with most of you guys here.
    • News themes. I actually prefer that over actual music or video game music. I mainly listen to the packages for local American TV stations.
    • Tech stuff, including but not limited to PCs and smartphones. I have a decent knowledge in tech stuff (including repairing to some extent). I'm also interested into testing pre-release versions of operating systems.
