Super Mario 3D All-Stars

i honestly think the new mario kart is a very cool concept but in the long term it'd propably not be as interesting to play as a 'normal' mario kart game since i honestly wouldn't feel like setting it up physically and making sure my area is ok to race and after this academic year i'm probably going to be in a small university room most of the time i play on the switch so yeah i'm not sold on it but i do credit its fun idea

I think you should be able to save tracks to the game kind of like courses in Mario Maker. Once the track has been played on, you could save it to your game and you wouldn't have to set up that specific track in that area. I know it probably wouldn't work, but it would be cool.

I take issue with the fact that it's controlled via a real life object, I know that's the entire point, but I feel it will end up being detrimental. The game is going to control based of how this toy can handle in real life, not in a game, so chances these physics just won't be fun to use.

The game just seems like a quick novelty and nothing else, and to me that's just not worth $100.

I'm in awe at how well this sentence embodies the sentiment we all have towards some of Nintendo's products and practices.

Okay, I was looking at Nintendo's official website, and I noticed something that sounds bad. It says " Make Mario move using the Nintendo Switch system's Joy-Con™ controllers." as in, you can't use a pro controller? It could be nothing, but its weird they don't even mention the pro controllers. Just something to think about.

Well they did the same thing for Super Mario All-Stars on Wii, and that eventually got a full release under the Nintendo Selects line, so there is hope.

Or this might end up like Kirby's Dream Collection, a brilliant compilation of six great games that's stuck with them eBay scalpers. Let's hope not.
Let's not forget Metroid Prime Trilogy, that was limited release window as well until it was re-released on Wii U e-Shop and Nintendo Selects, I think.

I don't think Nintendo Selects, but it was released on Wii U eShop. Same thing with Pikmin & Pikmin 2 on Wii. Only back then there wasn't really high demand, they just came out when no one cared.

Now I have Ideas For Racetracks:
-Starting Tour-
Baby Park (House Ver)

Elijah Circuit (It's Just A Circuit that's shaped lik a "E")

Book Road

Under the Table

Under The Table T

Book Road T

Elijah Circuit RMX

Lego Land (Mabye)

Depends on Price

can't say im not at least a little bit disappointed with this. its a shame that galaxy 2 hasn't been included - its basically the same game as galaxy 1 so idk why you wouldn't put it in there, only reason i can think of is that maybe the gyro pointer is too unstable/inaccurate to properly use yoshi? (we know that its less accurate than the IR pointer from other games and unlike galaxy 1 where you can kinda get away with that, the pointer is a central part of gameplay when you use yoshi so who knows). it wouldve been amazing to have a proper remake for these games but i understand that theyre probably too different from each other to do that easily... and taking a closer look at some comparisons, it does look a bit crisper than the original releases, so thats pretty nice actually. i also kinda wish that it was a little cheaper, considering how low effort it seems to be. i get that this is more of a "special edition" limited release game rather than a "proper" release like sm3dw is, but full price is a bit hard to swallow for something with not a lot of effort put in, and the whole "it disappears after march" thing, while i think i actually almost understand the rationale behind it (again, goes back to the whole special edition thing), is still kinda lame, and really perpetuates a FOMO kind of mindset for me which i dislike. i already have some form of each of these games (if you count sm64ds, that is), so its not really something i need to buy, and i do especially appreciate the sunshine release since gamecube games are pretty rare, especially in australia so if i didnt have a copy my brother hunted up for me years ago i probably would be over the moon for the chance to play it, so i guess this is more of a me problem as well (side note: next time nintendo should do the same 3 game release style for the first three paper marios just so i can get my hands on a legitimate copy of ttyd, i would happily pay an annoying amount of money for that).

naturally, with all these mixed feelings i have, i... preordered it this morning, cause i like giving nintendo money for somewhat half-baked releases of stuff i already own, apparently. looking forward to playing original sm64 for the first time, getting all 120 shines in sms for the first time, and 100%ing mario galaxy for the 5th time (or 9th and 10th if you wanna count mario and luigi as separate lol)

Now about Super Mario Bros 35 (The New Game) I'm scared of it..

Why? Well the first look of the game I said "NO.'' It looks more like Kaizo SMB shown in the footage. Now I've never played this game so I shouldn't Judge it, But It's Multiplayer, soooo you know what that's means..... If you don't have Nintendo Online you have to pay for Online... Also Every time You Kill a Eneimie That Eneimie goes to a random player, meaning that If you Kill a Lakitu a Random Player will get the Same Lakitu that You Killed, meaning that one unlucky Player Will die because of so many lakitus...

I'm happy they're getting ports, so people who missed out on these gems or want to revisit them can.

I'm dissapointed the rumors that they'd be remastered are false, at least in the way I was thinking of it? Like Spyro?

I won't be getting it personally. I've overplayed all three as a kid and grew a lifelong boredom of them.

Buuut. I never had the opportunity to play Wii U, so I'm SUPER EXCITED for the 3D WORLD PORT!

Would add 64 DS, Galaxy 2 and 3D Land TBH
My personal dream would be:

Adding 3D Land stages to 3D World as a whole.

Make two Galaxy titles in its own one with new stages, not being a collection along with other games, unless the capacity is enough.

Make 64 DS be an alternative mode along with the original version, expand more contents. I can even accept Waluigi for this time.

Have you played Tetris 99? Super Mario Bros. 35 looks a lot like it.

Even in straight ports of these games, they could address a few issues with the games. I don't expect 60fps in 64 and Sunshine, since it might break the game in certain ways, but it would still be great if they were able to include it in. I guess Nintendo giving these games the Crash/Spyro remake treatment probably would have taken longer than they would liked.

They should have at least put Super Mario 64 in widescreen. I guess it does look better than both the Wii and Wii U VC release, which desaturated the picture. Maybe better camera controls could be added in.

Mario Sunshine could benefit from a blue coin counter list for each episode and level.

I wonder if there'll be an option to use the Pro Controllers in Galaxy, because game uses motion controls for certain parts of the game. No Galaxy 2 feels weird. I'm not sure if it was a space issue or if it they want to forget it exists?

As for the 3D World switch port, I happy that the awkward Wii U Gamepad inclusion in the original won't be an issue. (If there's four players, one player will be forced to use the Gamepad and it's required for the captain toad sections). More levels and characters will be welcome. They already added new mechanics and online multiplayer so that's good too.

I'd be more excited for a NSMB35.
Not into the ol nes graphics & physics.
Otherwise the premise is pretty cool.
the constant use of Super Mario Bros. sprites have caused them to pretty much lose all meaning. At some point I feel it was supposed to be nostalgic? but at this point it might as well be a main feature of the series

theyre ugly anyway. ugly YUCKY palette!!!!!!

and yea im just tired of seeing them everywhere use a different mario sprite for once. how about the smw one it has really nice colors

Super Mario 3 should've been remade instead, but I see why they choose SMB1 again (wait, did they do that 10 years ago?)

They are remastered though. They updated the huds so far as we have seen. If you mean like Spyro and Crash, it's remakes.
