Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

I'll admit that Super Circuit is based on nostalgia, as it was the first Mario game I ever owned.
MKWii, on the other hand, I like for a number of reasons. The physics are great. I love the roster. There's like 3 voice clips for every move a character makes. I get to race as my Mii in overalls (one of my avatar's main outfits). The Quacker is nothing short of adorable.

The Red Shells from Super Circuit should come back, lol.
Or Mario Kart Wii, they're useless in both games.

As long as there not as ruthless as they are in Mario Kart 8 (they can hit you in cannons!), then I'll be happy.
Super Circuit's Red Shells were probably one of the strongest, especially if you drop them behind you where they act as mines and chase anyone who drives too close.

Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario Kart being the worst ones are the only opinions I will accept.
Will you accept the opinion that SMK is one of the worst ones but not MK64?

Yeah.

But rank Mario Kart 64 higher than MKDD or Mario Kart 8 or Mario Kart Wii and your goose is cooked.

I'm actually still undecided on that. But it's probably lower than at least MKDD and 8 and very likely Wii as well. So I am a safe goose for now.

I accepted cooked Yoshis as well, and I'll even feed it to Snake.

There's no solid reason to say that Super Circuit is worse than Super Mario Kart. And if you cut SMK some slack, you should do the same for Super Circuit.

And really, Mario Kart Wii is great!

Yeah, idk, Super Circuit has a lot of things going for it over Super Mario Kart. Better track design, better track variety, more tracks, better characters, full screen, better graphics, and best of all imo, the AI isn't horribly cheap like they are in Super Mario Kart.

I also fell in love with Yoshi in Super Circuit, so yet another reason I love it. I imagine Double Dash has a similar selling point regarding Baby Luigi.

Eh, I think age killed my liking for Mario Kart: Double Dash, it's simply outclassed by later games, including Mario Kart 7 which I do prefer over Mario Kart: Double Dash. Still, it would always have the special place in my heart by introducing the term "Baby Luigi" to my over lexicon and to my overall character.

Mario Kart Double Dash allows us to actually use the Wario Car, so that automatically makes it the best. :wario:
8 might have taken the spot if only they allowed us to use the Bowser Mobile. :bowser:

No matter how hard everyone (including Bowsette) tries, they will never be hotter than Valentina.

She's an overly elliptical-headed monstrosity with a chest that should suffocate any character

I agree that she's hotter than "Bowsette".

Mario's face is sometimes insufferable. There's something in his frowning expression that ticks me off, especially when he wins against you in a tennis match, or when he outruns you in Mario Kart. When he looks at me like that with his cute chubby punchable face, and screams that high-pitched voice too, I always think of a fat kid who laughs in your face and runs away after slapping you behind the neck or something. He just does not care about what he did and will probably do it again, because he can and he is in power. Anyway, back to Mario: he's even worse in online when I could inadvertently visualise a 7 year old with uninspired character choices behind that moustache.

And yeah, I have the same problem with his green version. Whenever I encounter a Mario or a Luigi on Marina Stadium, I have a convulsive desire to mop the floor with them at any cost, just to show who's superior.

If you get off by forcing Mario to get zero stars in Mario Party or by having him always get last place in Mario Kart Wii, then that's fine by me.

I don't think he frowns when he beats you in Mario Tennis. He might come off as smug when he's idle and beating you, but he makes the same face when he's losing thirty sets as well.

Mario also makes the same face when he's getting lapped three times so...

And IDK I don't see how his fatness have anything to do with how annoying he is. If you think he's just ugly, then say so.

And that's not nice or fair to Mario mains if you visualize people who use them as 7-year olds.

If you have fantasies of wanting to torture Mario the same way I torture Wario, I will enthusiastically assist you just like how I do this to FawfultheGreat even though I like Toad.

Do you like Wario Land 2 and 3? Wario is "invincible" in those games, meaning he has no health bar, but you can still inflict pain on him as many times as you want and make him lose some cash on top of that. Truly one hell of a time. When you finally decide to put him out of his misery, just go to WL3's final boss and do nothing when you're past the dialogue.

As for my anger with Mario, it's not actually that way all the time. I like him very much (the reason I'm here, no?). I just hate it when he's smug with that child-like mug

Ah, I do get frustrated with Mario some times. I had a particularly annoying Mario amiibo that's frustrating to deal with so I let loose and 1 v 7 him just to vent. The Mario in MUGEN is similarly painful but I neutered him as well because I want to play the game to have fun and have a decent challenge not to mash buttons and lose constantly.

I don't really play those games because it gets old kinda fast and you still have to progress the game with him in a way. I like it more if he's bot controlled and I get to inflict pain on him through another character.

This sort hate-filled description of my rival sibling's favorite character is so over-the-top infuriating that it's really hilarious.

Carry on.

Baby Luigi is still waiting for you to save him btw.

He can't join tennis and Mario Party till you do.
