Don't use this thing when playing against Boo1268, that'd be cheating. An earlier model of E. Gadd's Poltergust, designated PolterGust 1000, is confirmed in an old advergame for Luigi's Mansion to exist.
It wasn't used to catch ghosts. It was used to play billiards.

Nuclear Norman would turn the Mushroom Kingdom into the Mushroomy Kingdom…Following the pattern of Bullet Bill and Bob-omb, why aren't there more Mario enemies with names like "Firearm Frank" or "Nuclear Norman"?

If someone does end up making a fanfic out of that, be sure to tell Bullet Bill's stepmom: "Don't be a stranger!"Torpedo Ted and Missile Meg:
Although if you really want a good idea for a fanfic, write a Bullet Bill and Torpedo Ted OC, make them both kinda stupid, and send them back in time. I'm sure that would be an excellent story.
When controlling a character in a 3D world, the player often sees them from behind, so we were also conscious of how Donkey Kong would look from the back while he's moving. The back view of Donkey Kong just looks like a mass of brown fur, which would make for a monotonous visual if we simply rendered him in 3D. That inspired us to make some creative adjustments to his outfit, such as giving him britches and suspenders.
So you like Donkey Kong right? In the recent dev interview for Bananza, Kenta Motokura (producer) states:

This is was a funny observation on their part, and it's funny because it's often true. For instance, I never found it appealing to play as DK in Mario Kart because not a whole lot of what makes him recognizable is reflected when you control him.
With other characters, you still see core parts of their identity when you view them from behind. The bros. have their caps, the princesses their crowns, Bowser has his spiked shell and red mane, heck, other Kongs have striking pieces of attire. With DK, his main draw is arguably the tie, which is mostly hidden away from the player. What remains is a "mass of brown fur" that is pretty boring to play as in a 3D space.
DK also has a remarkable primitive side to him that is lost in Mario Kart. He is kind of designed to be more animal-like than other characters, even other Kongs, and move around by dragging his knuckles. Bananza even retains that side of him, which I think counterbalances the lack of other immediately identifying features when viewed from behind. Putting him behind a wheel inherently strips him of this trait and just kinda renders him as a generic heavyset, hunched humanoid.
This is why I've always preferred playing as other Kongs in Mario Kart despite being a fan of DK.
Wario has baked a cake for meI made a meme like this 10 years ago. Decided to revamp it this week so it's no longer a graphic design eyesore. Enjoy!
Alternatively it can just be a calendar meme.

Well, yeah. His name is Jan Nonhof, who also did the Dutch voice for Squidward in Spongebob for years. The man is amazingly talented, haha.K. Rool's Dutch VA in the cartoon is so good, man.
