Description: From the popular mobile game The Battle Cats, Ange Lackey is an angelic seahorse who is also a legendary baseball player. The blue stone on his chest is how he became such an all-star player, but unfortunately he overworked himself to death, hence why he is an angel. He's my RP in Randomizer Killing Game 2: Unsafe Harbor, and unlike there, he actually has his canon powers here.

Description (The Battle Cats): A mystic stone gave this legendary baseball player the power to ace any position on the field... but now they're just a one-seahorse team worked nearly to death.

Abilities: Ange Lackey delivers powerful ranged attacks from afar by shooting out exploding stars from his mouth. The stars create explosions that linger for about a second or two, and they have a 50% chance of knocking back anyone hit by the star or its blast.

Strengths:​

• Powerful ranged attacks from afar (so I won't repeat myself, I already talked about his attacking method above.)​
• Being a sage, Ange Lackey resists every kind of debuff unless the one inflicting them is a sage slayer.​
• Has 700,000 health in The Battle Cats, which is pretty good for a backliner. He may not have that exact health here, but still - that's high!​

Weaknesses:​

• Slow speed - Ange Lackey is on the slower side, so his mobility isn't great (obviously not canon in RKG).​
• Unable to attack enemies close to him - Ange Lackey is meant to attack foes from a long distance, so if someone is near, he can't hurt them.​
• Taking too much damage will knock him back - If he loses 33 1/3% of his HP, Ange Lackey will get knocked backwards. Three knockbacks will result in him KO'd.​

Claims to have forgotten his name, but you get the sense he simply does not wish to share it.​

A deeply antisocial man who has spent the last twenty years living out of a cave in the woods of New England.

He spent those twenty years relatively undisturbed and unnoticed. Brief brushes with society never amounting to more than easily dismissed urban legends or playground rumors whispered between children. However, the expansion of a nearby town was steadily encroaching on the before untouched woodland area, until the cave that was once miles deep into a dense forest was now a mere jaunt away from civilization,
so it was only a matter of time before his existence became known to the towns populace, prompting him to abandon his cave and seek out somewhere else to live his life.

A quiet man who rarely interacted with others even before choosing to disappear into the woods, and the years of isolation only served to confirm that he can not only cope fine with complete solitude, he greatly prefers it. Unsurprisingly, he's not an ideal conversation partner and will often outright ignore anyone trying to speak with him and is far from friendly when he does choose to talk.

Strengths
Resourceful and adept at stealth.
Needing to obtain food through foraging and hunting small game has left him reasonably skilled with a knife and animal trapping.
Exceptional hearing.

Weaknesses
Time comes for us all, and this mans lifestyle hasn't been one conductive to long-term physical health, years of untreated illnesses and injuries have compounded, leaving his body in far from ideal condition.
Limited movement in his right hand from a coyote bite.
Slight limp from a fracture in his left leg that wasn't able to heal properly.
Weakened lungs from an infection that went untreated.
Eyesight has worsened significantly with age.

He knows the pain of defeat all too well. The closer to defeat he gets, the more reckless he gets. It's all or nothing, and he's ready to risk it all.

He may have gotten a bit rusty, being retired and all.

An eccentric senior sheep woman with an extensive culinary background. In her long life Zalsarona has worked in just about any kitchen setup imaginable, be it fine dining, school cafeteria, or prison. Originally hails from the obscure country of Zaffria and proudly represents her heritage in her cooking, to the confusion of many of her chef colleagues. Runs her own private catering business.


STRENGTHS/ABILITIES:

• Sagecraft - Is a fully trained chef with decades of experience in different kitchen setups. She knows everything there is to know about food safety and food preparation and can easily identify when food has been tempered with, poisoned, or when it has expired. Her profession also makes her unaffected by the sight of blood.
• Hold the Line - Knows how to run a busy kitchen with military-like efficiency. This means she can quickly and effectively delegate tasks and whip even the most miss-fitting groups of misfits into shape.
• Anise, not Antics - Is extremely professional and harsh while on the job, tolerating no fools in her kitchen. Conducts herself with rigid, almost religious discipline while cooking and running her brigade.
• Irreverent Senior Citizen- When NOT in the kitchen, Zalsarona is a completely different person, seeming like a jovial and personable old lady who delights in the simple pleasures of life. Enjoys acting the fool and teasing people. This often leads to people underestimating her, thinking of her as frail and harmless.
  • Her general irreverence leaves her unfazed by most intimidation tactics. Breaking her confidence by such means is extremely difficult.
• Hard-boiled- Zalsarona's past is colored by strife and hardship. She knows how to survive in harsh environments and is familiar with a lot of conventional weaponry, including military-grade handguns and rifles. Can take apart a rifle and put it back together again.
  • Carries a taser. It is covered in cute squirrel stickers.
• Forklift-certified - Can operate maintenance and heavy duty vehicles as long as they are not significantly more complicated than a Zaffrian tractor. Since Zaffrian engineers are notorious for over-designing their schematics, this fortunately includes most vehicles.
• Panimajesh - Has trained a small yellow canary. It is slightly dim-witted but can be used for scouting.
• Cockroach au Vin - Has lived a long and quietly successful life and is yet to be taken out. Through wit, tenacity, and old lady gumption, she keeps herself alive in spite of her lack of magical abilities.

WEAKNESSES:

• Pride - Takes great pride in her culinary abilities and chef title. Too much at times. Looks down on pastry chefs and considers the term a joke title awarded to people who failed to become real chefs.
• Culinary Codex- As a chef, she is in an ideal position to take down her opponents with poisoned food. However, her extremely rigid chef's code prevents her from even considering the possibility. Even in situations where it would save her own life or grant her great advantage, Zalsarona considers food sacred and will never maliciously tamper with it in any way.
  • In addition to this, seeing others disrespect, damage, or waste food or water supplies will have her fly into a frenzied rage. Violence and cursing in Zaffrian will ensue.
• Wilted Flower - Despite her active lifestyle keeping her in better shape than most people her age, she is still an old lady. Too much physical exertion over too long a time will leave her exhausted and in pain.
• Put a Shirt On - Her easy-going attitude outside of work has some limits. She is easily offended and angered by nudity, including the lack of a shirt or shoes.
• Mischief is Afoot - Her hooves make loud clacking noises when walking on hard surfaces. This may make stealth inside buildings non-viable.
• It's BLAND! - For all her wit and tenacity, Zalsarona does not have any supernatural abilities. She simply cannot punch out god (though she will certainly try if he's refusing to cover up his pecs).

RELATIONSHIP WITH CASSIA

Zalsarona somewhat acknowledges Cassia's skills in the kitchen and works reasonably well together with her if she has to, on account of her own discipline and professionalism. Above that though Zalsarona has little respect for her title of pastry chef and thinks of her as too pompous and arrogant for someone of her station. Takes great pleasure in poking and prodding her volatile temper through a veneer of passive-aggressive obliviousness.

Cassiandra Lonicera, known as Cassia, is a renowned herbalist chef with a noble background. She runs her own business: Cassia's Stellar Cakes, and accompanies her signature herbal tea blends with complimentary magical cakes and breads. She has Telluric propagation powers and can swiftly extend vines of various herbs from her arms. Much unlike her tea, she can be quick to boil.

STRENGTHS/ABILITIES:

• Cassia hails from the world of Odyssey, a magically inclined universe that shares its esoteric magic system with other community stories. Cassia herself is a talented pastry chef that possesses Telluric-aligned powers of propagation and minor plant manipulation.
  • Whipped Like Herbed Butter! - Tattooed on Cassia's arms are stylized beanstalks that grant her the ability to extend and retract thick, braided magical vines of her own. She controls these with expert finesse and agility, like dual whips/flails, extending her reach up to 50 feet. She can manipulate retract or sever these vines on command, with a speed equivalent to her reaction time, and just as quickly regrow them again. This means she can...
    • Constrict a foe with grace!
    • Trip a foe with poise!
    • Disarm a foe with dignity!
    • Ensnare the most agile creatures with ease!
    • Wield weapons and throw objects well above her usual strength... but such brutality is very unbecoming of a noble chef, oho!
  • A Pinch Of This... A Dash of That... - Cassia primarily uses her vines as a chef's toolkit, propagating copies of plants and flowers after she grafts them to her vines at least once. Her accumulated knowledge, plus her collection of dried and fresh aromatics, makes her an erudite herbalist. She can always find the right garnish or herbal blend to soothe and impress her clientele. In the context of a battle like MBMB, this means she can also whip up medicinal remedies in a pinch, and make them more potent with access to a kitchen, crafting them into her signature teas and herbal cakes.
    • Magical Menagerie - The world of Odyssey possesses many strange plants imbued with Telluric, Thallassic, and Stellaric arcana, loosely derived from reinterpreted Mario species and many real-world oddities. Cassia's collection may include analogues to items such as Nuts, Refreshing Herbs, Golden Leaves, and Turtley leaves, allowing her to rejuvenate her allies and their magical abilities (FP) either as-is, or when whipped up into recipes. This also means she can exploit poisonous plants that can weaken or disable her foes, provided she can get them to have a taste! One important limitation is that she cannot propagate sentient plant analogues, such as Piranha Pods, or fungi.
    • Phytomorphic Conservation - The more magical or specialised a plant is, the more energy Cassia must expend to produce it. This means when fighting, she defaults to featureless or lightly flowered vines to conserve her energy, and only propagates what she needs when she needs it. Creating a whole length of Golden Leaves would be a tall order, even for our resident chef. See weaknesses below for more info.
  • An Aroma Of Superior Gourmet Skill - Cassia is a world-renowned chef and runs her famous patisserie, Cassia's Stellar Cakes, in the kingdom of Sarase. While her culinary talent lies in cakes, teas, and broths, she can whip up a variety of dishes and cater to any client. However, she won't be happy about it if she feels the food is "beneath" her abilities.
    • Cassia is experienced in traveling and chefing outside of her usual kitchen, and carries a small pop-up cake stall, samples from her herbal collection she has yet to graft, and other culinary utensils in a shiny roll-able case, meaning she's always able to cook on the go, provided she has time to set things up!
  • "Why, Have We Met Before? Ohohoho!" - Cassia has occasionally attended the AEAEA conference--a meeting of renowned movers and shakers in the magic industry--and has experience dealing with them in many formal settings. Her nosy but fine-tuned sense of opportunity lets her sniff out magical and culinary competition quite readily, and she's highly impudent with saboteurs and sneaky mages who may try to ruin her reputation. When not in a rage, she can be cold and calculated in her approach to an opponent.

WEAKNESSES:

• Quick to Steam, Quicker to Boil - Cassia's biggest weakness is her rampant temper. While she can tolerate a bit of discomfort or frustration at her situation, if left unchecked, she may fly off the pot handle into an indescribable rage, hurling pans and any unfortunate baked potato in her vicinity in a whirlwind of vines.
  • A Watched Pot Never Boils - As a haughty, elitist pastry chef, Cassia puts extensive value on appearances, and has learned to utilise an empty kitchen to let off some steam. She will prioritise letting her anger out when alone, but if she can't get an opportunity to do so at all, then she may break and flare up even harder than normal, throwing social decorum out the window in service of hurling a frying pan at an enemy's head for relief.
• Oh! How Rude! - Cassia also highly values manners and her own interpretation of politeness, formed through her noblewoman background. However, even she can't resist showing off her knowledge to impress those around her. Like a stinging vine of ivy, her elitist quips may irritate more straightforward and direct acquaintances, which in turn will irritate her into making more snarky quips. Cultural differences may widen this rift even further. She also seldom apologises, unless she recognizes she's made a grievous mistake.
• Too Many Cooks In The Kitchen - Obviously doesn't work well with others.
• Early To Bed, Early For The Dough To Rise - Finally, while she is highly energetic, and routinely wakes up early to handle her preparations, Cassia is prone to exhaustion when pushed to her limits.
  • Not only is she an excessive perfectionist for her cooking and outward social conduct, her Telluric vine powers drain her energy when used extensively, as plants need nutrients to grow and propagate. She can't maintain her powers forever without replenishing her energy in some way, and despite whatever slightly magical properties they possess, her own plants logically do not provide her with enough energy to keep going infinitely. She must rely on external energy sources at some point. Similar to how plants also extract nutrients from soil, she has to have a variety of sources to produce the healthiest plants.

RELATIONSHIP WITH ZALSARONA

Cassia entered a reluctant partnership with Zalsarona as the two scrambled to find a workable partnership for the tournament. In the heat of the kitchen or in battle, their relationship could likely be described as "professional enough to handle the lunch rush". While Cassia knows how to work with a fellow professional, she considers Zalsarona more of a peasant only fit to make gruel for soup kitchens. She becomes gradually intolerant of Zalsarona's direct manner and tone, will return fire at her passive-aggressive quips with no hesitation, and will try to brush off her partner's frequent insistence that she's "only" a pastry chef (to little success). Like a ruined souffle, it's possible their partnership will show cracks as the heat from the oven intensifies.

RATASTROPHE
There's Every Rat In This Vending Machine

A stationary, haunted, rat-infested vending machine disguised as a regular vending machine, the RATASTROPHE is a culmination of every MarioWiki and community-related rodent character, unleashed at random to sow chaos on the battlefield.​

In this MBMB "Battlefield, Japan", an ersatz vending machine on the mountaintop or in the alleys of the village is not out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, this vending machine is out of order... nary a drink within. The owner, King Sodas, went bankrupt with their lofty gamble on rat themed sodas, such as RATZ, and struggled to find a buyer when they went under. Meanwhile, legends tell of an oblivious duplighost who once made a grave error, summoning rats inside every vending machine in existence, before they were banished all at once.

The malevolent gestalt spirit of those departed rats has chosen this abandoned vending machine as its mortal vessel...
...and its out for vendgence.

STRENGTHS/ABILITIES:

• Has all the powers of a vending machine.
• Very well disguised as an ordinary vending machine, and will draw no scrutiny as a combatant. To all other combatants, it's initially a mystery where these rats are even fucking coming from, aside from maybe convenience store workers who are forced to stock cheap drinks, or followers of the esoteric who might have heard rumors...
• Can "vend" (summon) up to three rat lookalike entities at a time, from The Official MarioWiki List Of Rodents below. These lookalikes possess all of the powers of their rat, for rat-based combat. It will try to pick the most appropriate, refreshing and thirst-quenching rat for its individual adversaries.
  • Can summon these rats at a great distance, to avoid drawing too much suspicion. The rats can travel as far as rats can normally travel (which is quite far)
  • Summoned rats vanish like ghosts when killed, and do not indicate where they originated from.
  • Summoned rats cannot be summoned again once killed. Luckily there are infinite rats.
• Is full of infinite rats. They won't stop spawning until the vending machine is busted beyond repair.
• When discovered, extends two 10ft tall cartoon ghost legs and runs away as fast as it can to hide again.

Spoiler: Fleeing Form

WEAKNESSES:

• Only has all the powers of a vending machine. This means it is weak to all anti-vending-machine magic or just being pushed over.
• Cheese
• Has no battle plan beyond picking rats to fight opponents, then running and hiding once somehow found. Relies on urban camouflage entirely to survive. This becomes more noticeable in some environments more than others (a stray vending machine on a mountain or in a village is not out of the question, but in the middle of a bamboo forest? totally suspicious).
• When destroyed, the vending machine ghost disperses. There is no rat explosion, unless additional rats not summoned by the vending machine were somehow spawned inside.

Well, well. Not a speck o' dust in sight. Ain't lookin' like there's any blood splatter, unknown formless whatsits, or disembowelled organ meat runnin' up the walls. This place is lookin' mighty clean, yup - looks like whatever new-fangled organization's runnin' this here game is doin' a much better job takin' care of their facility than that damned BPI ever did, oho.

...Mighty shame, it is then. 'Cuz is ain't gonna be stayin' that way.

Gus Odeon, codenamed the Crimson Eye "Tarrasque", is many things. An excellent custodial worker with a keen eye for detail and a hardy work ethic. A loving husband and grandfather. A tough, strong, and dependable bastard despite his age. An agent of the sinister organization known as the Crimson Eye, employed to spy on the BPI facility he oversees in his custodial duties - mercilessly tearing apart those who learn his secret or get in his way. Indeed, he is a man with many stories to tell, and many of them of them are rife with bloodshed and brutality.

But hey, it's not like he has any particular love for the Crimson Eye or their mission. They just offer a comprehensive benefits package, a wage guaranteed to put his grandchildren through a good school one day, and near unconditional revival upon death via the mysterious pharmaceutical product known only as "Lazarin". All of this, of course, is not taking into account the immense number of physical augmentations he has undergone to make him a veritable juggernaut in his own right. Don't let his unassuming appearance fool you, this old janitor's here to thin out the BPI's numbers - and he's more than willing to shatter the skulls of anyone getting in his way.

Strengths/Abilities:

Berserker Physiology - As the Crimson Eye's signature juggernaut, Gus has undergone a variety of experiments aimed at enhancing his physical prowess. As a result, he possesses near-supernatural strength and durability on par with a large animal such as a rhinoceros. He is able to shrug off the majority of wounds - though his "soft" bits such as his eyeballs and the inside of his body are still as vulnerable as a normal human being's. He is relatively fast as well, and can shrug off impact pain, allowing him to charge through walls and doorways with little effort. When he does so, however, it is rather hard for him to stop or turn around on a dime. While these abilities stem from the mysterious energy known as Esotera and could be considered anomalous in nature, Gus himself does not maintain any affinity for magic and all of this power is funneled exclusively into his physical strength.

Selective Aggression - Gus may be employed by an evil terroristic organization - but he isn't inherently cruel, nor is he stupid. He will reasonably work with those who are kind to him (save for the BPI members, of course), and he will especially work with other Crimson Eye members such as Agent Red. He isn't out to get himself killed on purpose, nor is he out to pick fights with random people for little to no real reason. He'll attempt to be amicable and conceal his true nature when possible, and won't initiate combat unless he is reasonably provoked. Once he is in combat though, he has trouble differentiating between friend and foe in his fit of berserker rage.

Persistent - Even when wounded to near-mortal levels, Gus is one tough son of a bitch and will keep on brawling until he's reduced to ground beef. His stamina is near endless, and he will never surrender in any situation. As such, in order to be finally put in the ground, it will take enough damage to completely incapacitate or kill him all at once. This persistence also extends to his grudges against those who get in his way, and Gus will ruthlessly hunt down anyone who provokes him in a meaningful way and lives to tell the tale.

Handyman - While undercover spying on the BPI, Gus developed a variety of skills within his role as custodian. These include...

• Basic mechanical knowledge, allowing him to fix machinery and tools provided they aren't particularly complex.
• A keen eye for detail that allows him to detect traps, ambushes, and dust in the corners of the room.
• Skills at handling broom and mop-like objects in a combat role.
• Boating knowledge he gained from traversing the lake.
• General BPI secrets and knowledge of Anomalies, allowing him to use simple magical objects.

Lazarin Sample - In service of his mission to eliminate and spy on the BPI within the brawl, the Crimson Eye have supply dropped a sample of Lazarin somewhere within the game map that only Crimson Eye members know how to utilize. Gus has a vague idea of the area it is located in, but not exact coordinates by any means. Should he locate it, he can either use it himself in case of impending certain death to revive, or he can give it to Agent Red to do the same. Either Crimson Eye agent may revive the other as well. Once revived this way, the Crimson Eye member no longer counts as a player and cannot win the MBMB - though they are able to cause trouble and eliminate other players, as well as survive to the end of the game.

Weaknesses:

Berserker Rage - Once combat starts, Gus enters a state of rage that, while allowing him to fight at full strength and shrug off pain, also renders him with a temporary blurring of his cognition that can make it difficult to tell friend from foe. Gus is likely to hurt his allies in direct combat if they get too close to him while he is in this state, though it is significantly unlikely that he will go out of his way to damage them if they keep their distance. He will also be oblivious to any looming danger in the background, such as a sniper or other ranged attacker while raging.

Old Dog, New Tricks - While Gus is by no means a stupid man, he is rather old and easily confused by modern technology beyond specific devices he learned about during his time with the BPI and Crimson Eye. If made to use a modern computer, or any kind of sci-fi technology, he will be just as clueless as your average grandpa when confronted with the likes of a smartphone. Given enough time, he will figure it out and be able to use it fine - but this will take a significant amount and he is just as likely to get frustrated and toss it aside to instead rely on what he knows.

Melee Focus - While Gus is capable of and knows how to use firearms and other ranged weapons, he prefers to rely on melee weapons or his fists to fight opponents. If forced to, he will fall back on a ranged weapon, but he does not carry them and such weapons will have to be sourced through the environment or from felled/incapacitated fighters.

Betrayal Adverse - Perhaps somewhat hypocritically as a spy, he especially hates being betrayed and anyone who betrays him is immediately added to his grudge list as a top priority that stands above the rest, even if it serves absolutely no purpose to his greater mission. Agent Andras has already found himself on this shit list before the game has begun due to their past interactions, though he will happily add any others who see fit to stab him in the back.

Marcia, she her

A normal human who fell down a hill once. Filled with animosity and perseverance through spite. Needing to scavenge means of defense and has obtained some kind of big laser weapon from somewhere.

Pros: decent runner besides being a smoker. Fully willing to resort to violence. Looking to find a group of meatshields that can be bailed on if suitable.

Weapon fires big yellow laser beams that singe holes in target, accurate at long range. Can continuously fire quickly.

Cons: no inherent powers or abilities otherwise. Success will bring overconfidence. Won't know how to fix weapon if it breaks, runs out of power, or is stolen and would have to find something else.

Weapon is bulky, loud and has big kickback. Also brightly colored so it'd probably spoil a hiding spot. Laser beams can be deflected.

Frouge, he him (not a team, two separate entries)

Some guy who drives around. Kind of a prick. Immobile, unspeaking, only wants to hit people with his car whereever he can find them and drive away.

Pros: has some kind of durable, all terrain vehicle that he drives with skill. On successful hit, or if danger is too great, can floor it out of a situation. Might even decide to bully someone and continue hitting them as they try to get up

Cons: tends to waste fuel by driving in circles while idle and has to get out to refuel. Best suited to roads or flat terrain. Best suited to single targets as well as multiple foes would have a better change of destroying the car and detonating him

[Turboo]

Jessica Brynley (she/her)

A meek Feline woman from a well-to-do family, and the youngest heir of the Raythean arms manufacturing company.
...well, at least she was in the past. Due to an unspecified incident some years ago, she's mostly fallen out of contact with her family, in spite of their attempts to reach her - she still keeps some very reluctant correspondence with her father. Nowadays, she's mostly unknown to the public and doesn't readily bring up her last name.
Both before and after that incident, she worked as a mercenary for Blacksteel Worldwide, taking a side job at Rhodes Island Pharmaceutical Company alongside her coworkers to assist with their work; she picked up a knowledge of medicine and anatomy from her experience on the field.

After departing on a leave of absence and going out on her own to the Arizona frontier - ostensibly not just to shoot a film - she ended up in the middle of the Silver Junction Killing Game, where she readily kicked off the bloodbath by murdering a Bionicle with explosives. Whether that was some type of "frontier justice" or simply just that she's a murderhobo, no one can really say.
The end result was that she died a total of three times during the game - once as a ghost, even, to one of the very same combatants in the Brawl this year. Though... she's not especially revenge-seeking, considering how many lives cats have. She still has the scar on her neck from her last life, though. And the pumpkin. And the Liturgic residue.

Incidentally, any claims of her being a sheriff are unsubstantiated. Maybe there's someone from her past who told her she was one, and is part of why she left for the frontier in the first place...? It'd be the best explanation for her odd sense of morality, anyway.

---

Strengths:
+She is, in fact, a murderhobo and has few qualms with just walking up and attacking people, if the opportunity presents itself (barring the exceptions below). Though she'll probably apologize afterward and act nervous the whole time.
+She has a basic working knowledge of medicine and anatomy. She didn't bring a first-aid kit with her, but she's good at knowing where to strike and what might have downed somebody else - though some of that familiarity has faded with time and one of her revivals, and she can't really do autopsies on immediate sight.
+Jessica has been trained in a variety of weapons, and has brought the majority of them; she has her katana, a few guns (pistols, carbines), etc., and a giant Mobile Riot Shield.
+Since her neck's already weakened - and she's sort of still half-ghost - if she's beheaded... she can put a pumpkin on and run around as a dullahan for an effective "second life". She doesn't necessarily put her neck in harm's way, but it's likely to be a surprise to people who are trying to go for it.

Weaknesses:
-Jessica is not necessarily innocent, but certainly too trusting, despite her murderhobo-ness. While her genuine willingness to cooperate for a common goal can be a boon in some situations, it is more than likely a detriment since she can't really pick up on those with the intent to betray her.
--She is extremely hesitant to harm those she is familiar with - Roland and Madame Zalsarona especially so, to the point where she'll likely freeze up if confronted by them/needing to confront them. Ranger would make her stop for a bit, though not to the extent of those two; Not Shane elicits no particular reaction from her outside vague recognition, and Lasagna Cat... well, she would probably go for the jugular above all else, even without any especially hard feelings. Just business.
-Coming with a shit ton of weapons for any range also means naturally being overencumbered, and anyone catching her completely off-guard from the back, for example, would likely be able to get the drop on her without much difficulty.
-Relating to her use of the pumpkin as a "second life" - she does try to keep it firmly secured behind her shield and protected, but it's still a pumpkin and eligible to be splattered. She also can't stay alive for a very long time without it, and would not be able to do much beyond a final, futile, near-blind attack if the pumpkin was either destroyed pre-revival or while she has it on her head.
-Still pretty much a ball of Liturgic energy. If you shoot her with anything vaguely Occultic-aligned, she will probably explode harder than most other people would if they got hit by the same attack.

Izumi Konata (she/her) (also thanks Kright for the art)

An excitable high school otaku with a love for all things anime and nerdy. At least, on the outside. She's secretly a ninja from the Izumi clan and also an employee for the BPI, well, before she died at the Central Facility Incident of 2028, but she got better in the end.

---

Strengths
+Ninja training. As long as she isn't moving, she can functionally disappear from sight, and even do minor hand-movements without being seen. When she has smoke bombs, she can escape from any situation, almost as if teleporting.
+BPI Agent training. She's been around the supernatural and the weird enough times to know the basics of how to contain and deal with them. She also knows the basics of weapons.
+Otaku. Knows all sorts of anime and games, don't let her talk your ear out about them

Weaknesses
-Physically Weak: She's still a high school girl and her training was mostly in stealth and espionage. She can't really put up a fight on her own
-Somatic: Due to synchronizing with the Somatic Seal at the central facility, she has prophetic dreams. Unfortunately, this came with the side effect of making her sleep for longer than anyone else, and sometimes passing out on the spot
-Distractable: If you dangle her interests in front of her, she hyperfocuses on them to the detriment of all others

"Subterranean", he him



Known only by code name, he works as part of a bounty hunter group known as the Dark Hunters. A chemical accident turned him ugly and shunned, so now he works hunting down Toa. Like most characters of the Mata Nui Universe, his body is made of a hard, reconstructable, metallic exterior that houses flesh, muscle and organs inside, somewhat like a bug.

Pros: power to cause anything he touches to crumble apart. Can temporarily immobilize opponents with eye contact. Has a stash of gacha-earned Kanohi masks to enable use of a energy based personal shield, x ray vision, super strength, levitation, super speed and water breathing, but only one at a time. Two long spike weapon things.

Cons: shitty negotiator and untrustworthy by ugliness. Sensitive hearing, loud noises will cause pain. It's never been made canon in Bionicle but I'm canonizing it here: the hoses and joints of the body are weak points as they can cause movement issues if tampered with, even if his internal flesh is untouched. His form is very skinny and lanky, so it's probably pretty easy to knock him over.

Reference material: like most Bionicle villains, has delusions of grandeur and power despite being a dumb asshole. He can act like an anime villain to accomplish this.

Strengths
- In order to defeat Nintenna, you'll have to best his MINIGAMES! Nintenna can use his TV screen to transport you into recreations of famous Mario Boards games (mostly from the past 4-5 years) and participate in minigames and events either based on or directly pulled from those games! You'll earn points in these games, and successfully winning the game will allow you to escape and do damage to him.

Minigame examples include:
- Scrum Debate
Win a difficult scrum debate in the TV Tower from ARKG.
- Quack Attack
Escape the dangerous cometstruck Berdly in this running game set on the S.S. Cetus! Pick up power ups to move faster and avoid dangerous obstacles.
- Elevator Cleaning
Clean that elevator on the Admiral's Halo! Use your mop and towel to wipe up black goop on an elevator shaft before it reaches the bottom and gunks up the doors.

- Has MANY extendable appendages. Makes it easy to restrain participants for his minigames.
- Conceal carries the original ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ firearm.

Weaknesses
- Obsessed with getting people to play with him. Can't handle rejection. Really does NOT want to be told he's 'duper' and will keep people with him as long as possible.
- Not very strong-willed. Susceptible to manipulation if it's not something he actively doesn't want to do.
- Has grown attached to the games characters. Doesn't want to kill anyone from a game (I) have participated in.

Blue Tango (Berdly)​

You know him! You... love him(?) It's Blue Tango, also known as Berdly, coming to assist via Nintenna's TV screen! He can't physically be here (his current location is a mystery) but this is the next best thing.

Strengths
- He can hack into other computers and TV screens to display whatever images, audio and video he chooses. This can be used in whatever way he sees fit.
- Is VERY familiar with the mindscape. Mental attacks don't work on him, thanks to his past as a Cometstruck victim.
- Signal Flare: can short out the circuits of nearby electronics with a remote EMP burst.

Weaknesses
- If Nintenna goes down, he will have to switch to other screens, which could be harder for him to control.
- He is still... Berdly, which means he is quite prideful. He's not too difficult to bait into getting angry or jealous, even if he has matured a little.

Why vote, you ask? To influence our state-of-the-art weighted rng! We'll be using a randomizer to determine the outcome of the fight, and each submitted Brawler has one entry into the randomizer. However, by voting for who you'd like to see more, you can add extra entries into the proverbial hat! This will influence the outcome, but the winner will not be decided simply by popular vote. For instance, if Character A has two entries while Character B has one, Character A has a 66% chance of winning – but it's fully possible for Character B to come out on top! This allows us to keep things dynamic and surprising, and who knows what upsets can happen!

You all will help us out with this process by voting! Everyone will be able to rank-choice vote for NINE Brawlers you'd like to see win the Brawl. Kōyō Mountain? For reasons I can't understand, I'm not allowed to vote for "family members," I can only endorse them... Oh well, I've picked some pretty good fighters anyway!

Chikorita: To be honest, I just want this slime to have the best luck. She's so squishy and cute in her blob form, I just... I can't NOT put her on the number one spot! She's the closest thing to a Ditto I could vote for, so of course she's getting #1 in my book!

#2: Scott the Woz

Chikorita: This human slices and dices, he's defeated the blue border in his videos, and he used the Madden curse to his advantage! With street smarts, Scott the Woz will be a GREAT fighter on the mountain!

Chikorita: He's a western guy with guns, and he appears to never get tired... I don't know if guns will win THIS battle, though.

Chikorita: Since when did the main host of Mario Party 3 turn bad?! Considering his experience with hosting board games, I think he would be a bit too good at reality bending... Huh, his reality bending consists of simulations? What?!

Boo1268: Now you all might be wondering why would a gentleman ghost like me come back for round two? Well the answer Is simple, I figured since the Last Mega Brawl had so many differing teams that I would need to make my team the BIGGEST and best of them all! Infact I would say that we are infact The most powerful team in the brawl! but then again thats just my opinion, but seeing as how we got not only a plehtera of magic abiltes lots of combat knowledge and can even COMMAND the Dead! Suffice to say we are very strong! But enough about us, it's time to give our compliments to our fellow friends and, most importantly, potentual allies we might make in the brawl!

9: Cream & Cheeze + Cinnamoroll & Chocola
OH MY GOODNESS THERE SO CUTE! Look at their cute little faces and floppy ears! AWWWWWW *Ahem* Sorry about that, but ANYWAYS This Group Despite there cute apperance can be great allies in the battle field, alongside there careing personality which I can get behind, there pasterys can also be a very helpful additon in the battle field granting us access to status and Buffs we wouldnt have other wise which can be a real help!

Specture: OK WHOS IDEA WAS IT TO LET KIDS INTO A DEATH TORDAMENT!? Well, thankfully, these kids are tougher than they look, at least they are able to defend themselves, so good for them maybe they might even have some fire resistance cake in there arsenal.

A Digital ghost? to be honest ive never heard of such a thing, but this lady seems dangerous. Hopefully, we can be friends? us paranormal weirdos got to stay together, dont you know, but then again, if she's hostile towards us, I can always control her with my Dark Moon Scepter, but I hope it doesnt come to that!

Specture: This thing is Powerful and I can sense it and while boo may want to talk, im ready to strike thankfully since shes a ghost Lucille will take care of her no problem, Since her ability to harm ghosts even IF there inside the machines can come in handy, so dont try anything ghost girl and besides my wisp attacks can hit her for long range damage too.

7: Ange Lacky
From what Ive heard from Specture this Ange Lacky fellow is really nice! and besides haveing an angelic being on our side is really great to have! and they can Ignore status effects? Wonderful! Maybe they can talk to some friends who have passed on for me other than that hes VERY slow but makes up for it with an INSANE amount of HP! Definitely a tank.

Specture: Lackeys an alright Indevidual, him and boo might get along well and that health pool will also be good for getting defense hopefully we might be Lucky enough to win this with them on our side, also dont worry I can relate to haveing slow movement, speaking of Lucky that push status wont do much against them since they arnt effected by status, which can ALSO be useful dont know if my Sycthe can harm them though since they are a holy being but maybe if he took enough damage he could fall.

6: Ratastrophe
Now, a vending machine full of rats is one thing, but a GHOSTLY vending machine is much more interesting! since how does that work? do the ghosts of all the rats haunt this ONE object giving it life or is it one rat that controls it and all the other rats are REAL and just live inside of it? How does it move thats its history? SO MANY QUESTIONS! *ahem* yes indeed, this vending machine is very curious and While I dont think I can befrend a ghostly rat vending machine, I can control it with my staff once I learn how it's possessed.

Specture: Oh GREAT ghost rats,I have ENOUGH trouble with the normal and ghost ones at the lich yard already,damn rodents eating my lavender, but yeah while I CAN hit multiple targets with Lucille I think others will have a MUCH harder time taking on this beast hopefully those BPI guys can handle it and be as good as they say they are.

5: Commander Nebula
This far flung Femfighter is NOTHING to scoff about! Shes as good as I was back in the day! her armor is not only better than the standard koopatrol but I dont even think my Battle hat can make a DENT in it! but regardless she seems more inclined to help others rather than go straight into conflict, so hopefully, we can be allies! but if not some good old possession should do the trick.

Specture: FINALLY a real challenge! her armor maybe tough and her balster can danage foes from far away, but shes kinda slow and is herself receptable to range attacks also, aside from that though I dont know if she has good options for fighting up close, so if someone can damage her in her weak point from close range she might be done for Scythe Toss you are my go to if i have to fight her.

4: Soccer Dad Vector & Linq
I respect this man he is not only looking out for an INTERDIMESIONAL version of his son, but he also seems very nice is strong, courageous, and much more. there's a REASON you dont mess with an angry parent, and from one dimesion hoper to another, I respect his drive to risk his own life for another that has respect in my book.

Specture: Yeah I aint messing with a crocodile parent, dont want my bones broken thank you very much, I mean shure I can heal them and fix them when I reform but I aint risking that since it takes longer to regenerate that way and this little dragon guy he has with him is SUPER annoying and whats worse is that he has FIRE! so if we get our there bad side its a BAD time for me.

3: Cosmo Necko
Ah yes my old pal Cosmo necko, I still remember the time when they entered my lich yard and met specture for the first time and when me and him stopped that Pianta and shy guy dont remember there names though, anywho power wise I don't know much about cosmo it seems as if they are just any regular cat that can talk and shape shift a bit however this "Good Luck" Aura that surrounds them may prove helpful with defeating foes but if the time comes when Cosmo must fight me well I may have to flee for the time being and his strange powers can prove problemantic aswell, but where on good terms so I dont think It will come to that.

Specture: Cosmo My man I gotta say you've come a long way, your very agile smart and those claws of yours HURT and your strange powers are kinda cool just be weary of that Mind master Creep, but other than that despite your book smarts man, you still have an unknown Achilles heel, Catnip but ill be less willing to use that on you also hey while you at it can you get that Feathers Mcgraw guy? Since ya know your a cat.

Ah my friends it seems as if its time to show you what you've taught me! thanks to Pyro ive been able to learn MANY wonderus spells and as such I consider these chaps to be VERY good friends of mine! I always enjoy our adventures together and there help for saving me. I am indebt to you all, and as such, with our teams combined, NO ONE WILL TAKE US DOWN!

Specture: AW HECK YEAH! Its good to see these guys again! ya know ever since that day we fought Mind Master together weve been the best of pals and Im glad to call them my friends plus there powers are NO JOKE so besides us and Cosmo we consider them to be the most POWERFUL people in this brawl.

In a battle of strength being able to gain power from damage is a POWERFUL ability, but despite that I can feel a sense of sadness and past pain in her eyes and as such I wish to help her by being her friend, sure she might be strange but ive had stranger friends before, even still her skills are impressive her power useful and her past unkown.
