That black and white area with the top hat theme gives me a strong Count Bleck vibe. I'm not going to set myself up for disappointment and say he might appear, but I hope there's some sort of callback or implication that he has a connection with that area.

Not top hats but depressing black-and-white areas combined with top hat themes and the fact that the thing that set off that game's plot is happening again here. Just seems like a good opportunity to throw a bone in that direction. I'm not pushing for anything major but even something subtle that shows they realize the similarities would be nice.

I think it's more related to Cappy looking like a ghost wearing a hat when Mario first meets him, I find he has quite an evil face sometime, and makes me wonder if he will be involved in a plot twist near the end.

So, I was looking at the official atlas for the game, and I found something.

Look just right the center of the map, you will see a Groenland-ish island that has snowflake shaped edges.

Here's the image taken right from the source for reference.

Do you see it? It looks like it could be the Ice world, and I know we still have Tostarena's Ice boukders and all, but still, if you look, Tostarena is on the other side of the map. So, anyone?
