The guy who made that model does a little webseries ("A Day In The Life of Bowser Jr." or something like that).
It's less the model itself and more the artstyle. 2D art for that series looks very similar, if not exactly like that model.
Man, you guys should see Bowz, if you think that's off.

Eh I think that series visual quality improved a lot with the jump to 3D. Sure the model is off compared to Nintendo's official models but clearly the maker of this series wanted to make his own instead of using official models. I still loved most of these episodes and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Probably to make sure he can actually reach the steering wheel.
Kinda like how Bowser and DK are basically genies when using the smaller karts in Mario Kart DS.

Yeah, that had always been the case. Their structure is very similar to Toad's, who, mind you, has no legs at all.

Although, looking again, their legs are longer too, so that balances it out I guess.

I'm looking at stuff from the SMB Movie and, apparently, Koopa's transformation into a T-Rex was supposed to happen gradually over the movie rather than just at the end.
