Blame nintendo for trying to make samus look like a joke character.

Otherwise that'd never happen as samus is pretty serious most of the time.

what she was great in ssb64 and melee.

Made use of a good variety of projectiles, charge beam hurts, good grab distance, some pretty powerful smash attacks.

Samus didnt suck until brawl, and even then zss is a pretty big threat.

well thats for competitive play, so naturally a lot of characters get shot down.

Meta-knight was known as an op character in brawl and yet i couldnt use him for shit, so lol.

i pay attention to tier lists but that really only goes for traditional fighters like kof or vsav since those games are bit more.... interesting with competitive play.

yeah pretty much, which is why i dont typically follow the tier lists in ssb games.

Seeing as how ssb series isnt quite as technical as the games i mentioned.
