I think it looks real because it literally reused the old icons that Nintendo tend to use and I dislike. Just hope that there would be more surprises in the outcome.

Not funny when it comes true, and somewhat possible. Especially Cosmic Mario.
Hope that they'd give all characters additional textures, not a so-called "original" character.

No. Baby Daisy was introduced in Mario Kart Wii.

And Baby Peach is introduced in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. My point is that just because a character is a baby doesn't mean she will make her debut in Yoshi's Island.

Because there were Baby Mario, Luigi and Peach so they wanted to add Baby Daisy to complete the quartet.
