Well, I guess I'm a blatant liar. I said I would stay away from here because the Internet is bad for me and cost me my relationship, but this place is just too addicting. However, I did leave for almost a week due to my mom placing me in a psych ward because she thought I was suicidal, but I'm back now. Hopefully.

Well guys, I don't know if you have heard it on the news, but Venezuela is going through a very difficult situation.

Let me sum it up for you: the government is stealing all the money and we don't have food. We can't find flour, butter, oil, milk, eggs, meat, chicken, hell, not even PAPER (toilet paper too). Hundreds of newspapers have gone out of circulation because they don't have paper. The insecurity rate is insanely high, and we are the most dangerous country in Latin America. Our economy is the worst in the whole continent and fifth in the entire planet. Many media communicators have been shut down because the government doesn't want the world to know what's going on here and they don't want us to spread any news within the country. We're on a dictatorship right now.

People are tired of this. Nicolás Maduro, our illegitimate president, who stole the elections last April, is the one to be blamed for all of this. Several riots have occurred since yesterday. Many pacific manifestations have been organized by the students of the country (I am part of that group). It's all peace until the government sends the military to harm us and kill us. Three students died yesterday in Caracas (the capital of the city). People are angry, sad, frustrated, and willing to do whatever it takes to end this situation because we don't want to live like this anymore.

I am going today, once again, to manifestate against the government. Hopefully I will be back, but since people are actually dying out there, I don't know if I'll come back home today. Just in case I don't post anymore, well, you know what happened. Please stay tuned and help us spread the news across the world, since the government is not letting us do it. I'll say this just in case: it's been a pleasure to share this space with you, it was very fun and I'm glad I got to meet such great people. I hope you all have success in your lives. Take care! I came back home because the police (well, actually killers hired by the government disguised as police) started throwing bombs at us, so I had to run for my life. So far, no people have died today, but there are hundreds of people hurt across the country. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to take the streets again.

We have no voice. The only way we have to share information within the country is via Twitter and Facebook, and even those are in danger of being blocked by the government. We're losing our right to communicate and our freedom of speech!

Wow... Being called a hero is something very big. Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm actually just one more in the millions of people who want a change in this country. It's frustrating because Venezuela is such a beautiful country, we are rich in culture, traditions, and so many things that could make us a great destination for tourism. We have beautiful beaches, we have an immense desert, we have jungles, we have mountains, great cities, we have the Angel Falls... So many things. I wish you guys could visit here someday, but only if it gets better. I wouldn't want any of you to take the risk to come here to just try to survive (which is something us citizens have to do every day).

Tomorrow I'll go out there, once more, to risk my life to try and save the country that saw me grow up. Thanks again to everyone for your messages!
