Title says it all! What's a character you like but don't really speak about? Personally I'll say Bowser Jr, I love the little guy but I rarely ever speak about him

Another character for me that I wanna mention is Cappy who is probably my favourite non-Koopa character

Oh, I love Cappy in spite of never having played Mario Odyssey. The idea of being a ghostly top hat who can morph into all kinds of other hats is just awesome, plus, Shohei Komatsu gives such a wonderfully energized performance as Cappy that I named one of my imaginary friends Shohei.

Oooh maybe you could rank Koopa characters in a future post
Maybe, but would I rank based on species (e.g. Koopa Troopa, Hammer Bro, Dry Bones etc.) or by individual characters (e.g. Kooper, Parakarry, Hookbill etc.) or both?

A character I think people should talk more about is Kooper.
I agree. Koops I believe gets a lot more attention, but no one talks about Kooper, the OG Koopa ally from the OG Paper Mario, which I find a shame. It's why I made Kooper a main character in my (hilariously awful kid self) attempt at a Paper Mario series on YouTube.

Now I'm curious what that series was about lol

It was based on another Paper Mario series on YouTube I followed at the time, and my own series was basically a similar premise that took place after the first three Paper Mario games (64, TTYD and SPM). And like the Paper Mario series it was based on, I would occasionally do crosssovers between other stuff my tender preteen autism brain was hyperfixated on at the time, including Angry German Kid, T.U.F.F. Puppy, Sonic and Conker just to name a few. Because I couldn't animate at all back then (And still cannot, lol) I used paper printed cutouts of characters along with my really bad preteen kid voice acting and camera work. 😂

I prefer Kooper over Koops to be honest, but I also have a bias for the OG Paper Mario.

I like Prince Peasley, the thing he has going on with Luigi is more entertaining than what Luigi's got going on with Daisy.

I like Kamek's and Bowser's father son dynamic it's also why I subscribe to the adopted Koopalings fanon, the idea's cute.

I really like Bowser in general, I had fun writing his interactions with Vid in Big Cheese.

I would say watt because people don't talk about him that much or koops
Actually, Watt is a girl, but I do agree that she doesn't get talked about that much in spite of her significance as the first (and so far only, as far as I'm concerned) playable Li'l Sparky in the Mario franchise.

People are like "why does he still stay with Mario after Chapter 1 it makes no sense" nah it makes perfect sense he wants to continue getting stronger and idk it's just really cool to have a character not defined by revenge. And not just, "ok I did the one thing I wanted to do, now what do I do with my life"

Brighton and Twila were funny one-offs, and my sister and I draw the crap out of comics that have them annoy the rest of Mario and company with their furious feud. We don't talk about them a lot these days but we do bring them up occasionally.

Charlie from Mario Golf 64, lol. He's got quotable lines.

I know these characters are like one of the more popular ones, but I think I like Daisy and Waluigi but didn't really say as much about them.

Characters more obscure or limited in appearance are generally talked more fondly upon, whereas Daisy and Waluigi have more criticisms associated to them mainly because they mainly appear in spinoffs (RPGs and character-led games are considered respected series so they aren't under that umbrella). Those criticisms basically made me shy to say anything about either because the minute someone says something negative about them.

Thank you for reading.
