Ubisoft still cares more about Rabbids than Rayman why oh why

I'm going to stay skeptical for now, at the moment the crossover is weird and uncalled for, but I'll wait for more details to come out before I make a proper decision.

I understand that Rabbids appeal to the kid audience. Big time.

But why only appeal to the kids? Make Rabbid games and Rayman games, it's a powerful duo that hits pretty much the entire demographic.

I haven't been a big fan of new RPG franchises featuring Mario, they seem even more oriented with the main series than the likes of Sticker Star (if Puzzle & Dragons: SMB Edition is anything to go by) Unless this surprises me, I'll stick with Mario & Luigi (and Paper Mario if it ever becomes worth a crap again)

As for the topic, I think the intriguing part of this is that the 8 playable characters are 4 of the Mario cast and 4 of the Rabbids versions. I thought that that's too little, so I hope that there are more Mario characters (preferably playable), and if they need to, then the Rabbid version of each. If the Rabbid versions have their own body types, I wonder what a Waluigi or a Wario Rabbid would look like.

Emily Rogers and Laura Kate Dale only get like 50% of their stuff right, so there's a chance that they're wrong. They haven't provided any legit evidence unlike that Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga DX leak.

I so hope this is wrong.

Although I'd still wait until we hear confirmation from Nintendo themselves about these said... "rumors"... just hearing that we'll be representing more than just Mario (on the Mario side) already has my attention. I still have to say that I do hope that it's worth it in the long run when said possible installment gets finalized.
