Interesting, Bowser has ●瞳のまわりY90 + M90, if I’m reading it correctly, he was meant to have red eyes in this artwork, and that’s indeed the color of his eyes in the same artwork in the NA manual of SMW. I wonder why in the various illustrations of the Japanese Official Nintendo Guidebook Bowser had the blue eyes of SMB3 instead.

I think the most interesting is the Bowser Jr. one as I don’t remember having seen that artwork before (and the Magic Paintbrush is always a welcome reference, but why does this one not have the logo of E. Gadd?).
Also lol only now I realize that the colored Yoshi artwork were already in the “new modern” style (the one that looks more like the SNES style).

Probably because outside of context, the Gadd Science, inc logo seems odd for it. Either way, seems the sort of thing Junior'd sticker over.

I love it when they mix Donkey Kong Country stuff with Mario! There's Rambi's emblem from DKCR, a Mesoamerican-styled Kong statue from that game's Ruins world, KONG letters and a Golden Banana. Also, NEW DIDDY KONG 2D ARTWORK BASED ON HIS 3D RENDERS.

That Yoshi on Standard Kart is a fake, the original had him on the Standard Bike!
(it’s also in the new modern style while the MK8 stamp is in the classic modern style, in case you wanted to compare the two styles)

Well, on the Koopa side we have a lot of Bowser Jr. artwork likely from that Bowser Jr.’s Story mode, plus that shoeless Beach Koopa polishing its shell seems to be new.
