First day of Snowfall!

Today was the first day of this year that there was snow! It always puts me in the best of moods! I love snow SO much! It's even sticking to the ground!!! <3

What do you guys think of the first snowfall, and has it happened to you yet?
 
this reminded me of how annoying it is that it's so cold here even though it's supposed to be almost summer
why can't i live somewhere that has normal weather? >.>
 
I think nothing of it because it rarely happens here, and if it does, it usually melts by the time it hits the ground.
 
It might snow around Tuesday or Wednesday. A little bit.

That's a lucky break for you. As of now, Auntie Forecast has refused to yield snowfall on to me.

When I lived in Georgia it would snow about once every year.

In South Carolina it has snowed a total of once in fifteen years.

So no, there probably won't be any snow this year.

It's exactly the same situation you described where I am right now as well.
 
Today it was like -10 celsius
There's flowing ice on the river but no snow :( it's really dry here in winter anyway.

there's snow at the two poles, and in Russia

and there's a lovely country called greenland

Go live in the L.A. county. It's nearly guaranteed you'll see none of it. Except for that one day in, what, 50 years?
 
No snow yet, and if we go by recent years it'll be a pitiful amount that shouldn't have even bothered showing up
