not to mention that rosalina's aerials absolutely suck, mid jumping approaches arent even an option with her.

Honestly i hate playing as her, it's almost unbearable.

The up aerial is actually quite good for juggling purposes though.

I should probably point out that there are some people who have suggested that Greninja is very good, but it's actually a very overrated fighter once you find out that all of its specials can easily be punished, including Substitute. Add the fact that Greninja's KO moves are lacking, and its third jump is very hard to control, then you pretty much know that Greninja is nowhere near as good as Sheik.

i'm actually fairly decent with rosalina

btw, i am NOT a fan of the menu layout. i don't like it how all the solo modes are lumped into a big fat "games and others" category. ugh.

but in all honesty im actually sick of this game, surprised i managed to play 90 hours, but god i play it now and get really irritated.

I havent even been able to do a match because i get bored so quickly.

Think my love for fighting games has completely died.

That's basically where think like your opponent comes to play. Also, you can't air-dodge if you're in a helpless state, so there's that dilemma to keep in mind too.

I'm just the messenger. Someone from SmashBoards pretty much gave me the situation with Greninja.

No really, why do people think Greg is OP? He's definitely fast, but it's not like he has all of these crazy strong and safe moves. Water shurikens take a while to charge (nor can you save the charge), side b can be heavily punished, up b is good but takes skill to control, and down b can be punished even when you land it! Not to mention how the counter window is really small compared to others.

Let's compare that to Sheik now: needles can be saved and are easily spammable, down b can even be led into by the needles, down b is a safe recovery move, down b is a kill move, down b is practically completely safe on hit and you don't go into helpless after it, up b hits on start and on recovery, up b has a wind box when reappearing that will blow opponents away that don't get hit by the additional hitbox, and side b has a lot of utility but seems the most balanced.

Now even if we were to unreasonable say that Sheik and Greninja have identical regular sets, you would see that Sheik clearly trumps what Greg has.

Pic of the day. Here's the Fiend's Scale in Classic mode. When you raise the intensity in the 3DS version, the effects looked similar to a picture book. However, for the Wii U version, as you raise your intensity it looks like you're falling deeper into the underworld. The very bottom looks ferocious.

The field in Classic mode has five different backgrounds determined by the intensity level. On low intensity, the background looks peaceful, but on high intensity, the atmosphere gets pretty intimidating.

We just got a Classic Mode pic last week though. And it seems it costs the same amount as the 3ds version for 9.0...great... Still not feeling this mode, from the possible 8-player battles on 9.0 to having to fight Master Fortress, all with only 2 lives (who thought this was a good idea?!), probably going to be the worst Classic mode yet, imo.

Really though, all I'll be using Classic for is character trophies and potential unlocks. I'll probably be using Smash Tour for everything and have infinite more fun.

it's been out barely a month

well 90 hours is a pretty good length of time to play a game, sure it was fun, but i havent played it all in almost in like 3 weeks, and the last attempt i just wasnt enjoying it anymore.

But as said i dont think im able to enjoy playing fighting games anymore, i cant even play ds3 for a long period of time anymore and that my friend is one of my favorite games.

So idk at this point.

I've only played 20 hours and I'm already only playing it sparsely. I enjoy it when I feel like playing it, but the times I feel like playing it are few and far between.

This can make you wonder how players are even able to make it to Master Core at such a high intensity level. Having to fend off 7 fighters, with the chance of one of the fighters being giant-sized really does feel like a visit to hell.

2 Vs. 2 Vs. 2 Vs. 2
4 Vs. 4
3 Vs. 3 Vs. 2
1 Vs. 3 Vs. 4
and so on and so forth.

The options for battle combinations are pretty much multiplied by alot

I think they're generally free-for-alls in Classic Mode like how you can fight three opponents that aren't on a team in 3DS's Classic Mode. Sounds possible that maybe 8-Player fights in Classic Mode may not be so bas as long as you can survive while the AI kick eachother's asses and you take care of who's left.

That's pretty much what the new classic mode is going to be, watch your opponents smash each other up and see them ko each other. Then when there's only one computer you ko them instantly because they already are at a high percentage from smashing up your other opponents.

Pic of the day. Jackpot Opportunity is one of the Events in single-player mode where you aim to collect 1,000 Gold to pay off your loan. This scenario uses Coin Battle rules.

It's Past Your Bedtime sets up another predetermined situation for a single-player Event. In this one, Jigglypuff needs to put every fighter to sleep at the same time. There are quite a few scenarios like this that aren't simply brawls.

Big old "MEH" from me, although I'm chalking up this potd to the fact that duck hunt will be officially revealed tomorrow. I don't really like how Jigglypuff's eyes and mouth look like stickers though.
