  • You've been infected with the Wario disease, Warioitis! Now you are ugly and look like this:

Well okay, this isn't the ugliest I've ever been. At least I have my lovable round face and not the disgusting cleft chin and the horrible hygiene and the eye-poking jagged stache.

Anyway because of this I think this isn't Mario being affected by a Wario disease. It's looks like he beat Wario at a competition and is mocking him, rubbing garlic salt in the wound, by dressing up in his clothes and doing his signature pose! I think more people irl should do this while gloating. I know I sometimes do this when I beat up Wario in Super Smash Bros..
Might be a hot take but even if Nintendo releases N64, GCN, and Wii games in a legally playable state, I'd still recommend instead just modding the original games using game-altering codes.

They give such a breath of fresh air to these games; even if you disregard the crazier codes out there, some codes are really QoL changes that can seem small but really do make older games more enjoyable.

For instance Mario Party 4-7 have codes that increase speeds of each turn, skip the intros, alter the minigames you play, enable widescreen display. They also enable plenty of granular options that Nintendo wouldn't ever put in their games such as turning off the music, changing the coins blue and red spaces give/deduct or even reverse the behavior, enabling handicaps for certain players, change star prices, change minigame rewards, and so on. Some may be cheats but others are just options to toy around but really do increase the replay value of these games so much more.
I'm facing a reckoning that Mario's position as my #1 favorite character is being seriously challenged.

For me right now, I think I can easily say that like, given a choice in a game, I'd be Xiahou Ba over Ray Trace LOL

Still love you to death, Ray Trace!

I consider "LeftyGreenMario" now a former name. Please call me "LeftyGemsMagpie" now, but you can still call me "Lefty" or "LGM" for short but starting today, please slowly try to wean off the original words behind "LGM".
One thing I noticed growing up: Why are kids in school textbooks always photographed smiling while doing class activities??? It doesn't make me want to smile or do classwork more.

Maybe those kids are excited to learn?

In all seriousness, it depends on three main factors:
    • If the class is exciting (not boring, like taking notes)
    • The students want to learn that subject
    • The class has fun projects instead of lengthy exams
My media courses are examples of this - I enjoy learning about them and making fun videos + watching other students show off theirs. Business classes are boring because not much happens, but the one I'm currently taking (Business Marketing) isn't confusing, so that's good. Students shouldn't be forced to read several pages on their own; they'd be bored out of their minds and not want to continue learning! If learning is fun, then the kids will actually be excited to learn and participate.

The serious answer would be like, it's a photo to liven up the textbooks, make it inviting, and help students learn if the illustrations are cheerful enough. I just question its effectiveness if I just end up ridiculing it for being a farce, suggesting that doing homework is fun and not totally lame and burdensome.

It's like how advertising mails always has people smiling on them.
I do wonder how southern hemisphere residents feel that they certainly "the other" on the internet when all seasonal promotions are pretty much the opposite of what they're actually experiencing outside. Or the equator folks where there are no seasons.
For every start of a new school year, I remember I always looked forward to getting textbooks.

I think the smell of them helps to give a fresh feeling, and maybe also the feel of freshly printed pages. Of course, seeing new facts and things you might not know plays into a factor.

That is to say, that's what I personally think of regarding when I got new textbooks.

    Thank you for reading.
I try to come up with Mario & Luigi game nicknames

"Mario & Luigi: Coop d'État" where it's about the two bros joining a chicken uprising against the Bowser Farm company. The wordplay is on "coup" but also the chicken coop and the fact Mario and Luigi cooperate and help the chickens replace Bowser's Koupa Co with a cooperative. There is a hawk character named 'Cooper' who works for Bowser. Looks suspiciously like an accipiter. There may or may not be a chicken named Ginger. Also "Koopa" kinda sounds like coop.

Or it can be a farming game.
You sometimes wonder how people with surnames like "Slaughter", "Salmon", "Kitchen", "Stairs", "Starbird" live their lives

Goldfish are easy pets to keep.

For them to live through their short life span of 10-20 years, you just need space for a 28+ gallon tank (bigger is better) that's at least 4 feet long so the fish can grow to its proper length at over 1 foot long and the tank has been already cycled for several weeks with a strong filter to deal with the high ammonia and help oxygenate the water, and the temperatures are kept low. Extra fish will be just 10 extra gallons, some goldfish can get lonely.

Don't put them in bowls, that's just putting a baby in a portapotty for life.
