Goombuigi

Hello! I'm Goombuigi. I joined the Boards on March 24, 2020, and have stuck around since. I named myself "Goombuigi" after the character Goombario from Paper Mario (which, ironically, I've never played), combined with the fact that Luigi is my favorite character. I currently write for The 'Shroom, the community newspaper, and I'll borrow a page from other shillersWright Forde 'Shroom and encourage you to read it, and maybe consider writing for it, too!

This page serves as a general point of reference for myself, detailing my past accomplishments, various threads or posts that I've made, and a complete list of Mario games that I own. It's mainly for me to use so that I don't have to scramble for old posts for particular things I need, and for overall convenience.

Ten facts about me:
1. My favorite videogame character is Luigi.
2. I think that Goombas should be in more spinoff games.
3. I write The Mariospective for The 'Shroom. I used to write the Picross, Monthly Inquisition, and Super Mario Maker Showcase sections for The 'Shroom.
4. I like retro games and controllers, mostly because of their aesthetic and because I like seeing how they've evolved and carried on into the modern day.
5. I like making pixel art and clay models.
6. I'm an intermediate programmer.
7. My favorite colors are blue and red, which are, coincidentally, the colors of the Neon Joy-Con from one of the two standard Switch sets. Ironically, green isn't among my favorite colors.
8. I got my first Nintendo system, the Wii U, in August 2016, with Mario Kart 8 and New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U.
9. I was born during the GameCube era, but I've never played any GameCube games (besides the 3DS Luigi's Mansion remake and Super Mario Sunshine in Super Mario 3D All-Stars).
10. My favorite Mario games are Super Mario Maker 1 and 2, Mario Kart 8 and 8 Deluxe, and Super Mario Odyssey.
