post any random Mario thought on your mind

Making a bet, Super Mario 35 will get levels from Lost Levels later on

Either that or the world is gigantic.

Pretty sure they bloat the size of everything to emphasize its gameplay collision but that's the boring answer.

Have you noticed how huge Goombas are in relation to the karters? Also with the cars in Toad's Turnpike?

I think they're so big because it's easier for drivers to see and avoid them, I'm guessing.

I need more Mario spin-offs. Peach, Wario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Toad, and Yoshi got their own games so where's Waluigi's at? Daisy's? Pauline? Stanly?! Bowser could definitely use one too. I think Pauline & Stanly are least likely to ever get one but Waluigi has meme power, surely that's worth something.

Peach got only one game. It's a good one, and we do need a sequel for it, but I just don't see it happening any time soon. Wario also doesn't have a new Wario Land in over a decade now I believe, but WarioWare's still a success and ongoing.

I'm not sure what kind of material Daisy can really use to have a game for herself. In all likeliness, it'll probably be Peach's game but with Daisy as a co-star. It can be a good opportunity to then have Daisy have her own abilities and stand-out traits that can get her star in her own game. I don't think she's popular enough to get her own game compared to Peach, though.

Pauline is in the same spot. Sure, she's the mayor of New Donk City (which I rather they continue that route compared to relegating her to a prize and a plot device, yuck) and you can get some game ideas; what if Pauline is the star of some Mario-eqsue Sim City game? But like, with Daisy, you probably need a new genre for games starring her and Nintendo just doesn't take those kinds as moves as often.

I doubt Waluigi will get his own game. They can't even be arsed to use him beyond a cameo in Odyssey, and after, what, over two decades? Waluigi's had golden opportunities that were blown (Mario & Luigi 4 was a major one imo) where I'd just be pessimistic and say if he can't get any sort of role in the mainline games or in WarioWare (that would be perfect), what makes you think he can get his own series?

Doesn't Stanley the Bugman count as the star of Donkey Kong 3? He may not be the game's eponymous character, but it's as much his game as the first Donkey Kong game is Mario's.

I was playing Super Mario Sunshine and in the Blooper Race mission, if you don't complete the race fast enough, you get booted out the level. But if you crash and die, you just get sent to the beginning of the race. That's.... weird.

how ironic that its the day we start christmas break, i can start my nso free trial on that day

Who would win? Super Paper Mario Wiggler or Paper Mario: Sticker Star Wiggler?

Personally speaking, I think that, as with many enemies that appear in both SPM and PMSS, the SPM version displays more presonality in its stylized, Peanuts-like bidimensionality. Shame it ended up unused in that game. At least the flower appears to be identical between the two versions.

personally i prefer sticker star wiggler. he looks cute.

at least only being in one paper mario game is better than having 2 subspecies in a game but not yourself (*cough* *cough* super mario odyssey)

I like the head shape more in the SPM version because it's a stronger, more defined silhouette but otherwise, I prefer the Sticker Star one, that one has a better color scheme, the red shoes mesh nicer with the warm color palette than the weird black shoes. Shoes are better proportional too. And the spots are more varied, making a more interesting pattern.
