So today's my 6th forumversary (it doesn't feel like that long, probably because I was inactive for half of that time), and I've been thinking over the past few days about how involved I want to be on here going forward. I enjoyed being a part of the community throughout my time here, being involved and being able to contribute to projects to the degree that I did, but nowadays I feel like I have so much fighting for my free time. I've been involved in multiple communities (I'm also in the Thomas & Friends community), but I've never been able to find that balance of how much time to spend where. It feels like a lot, juggling school alongside all of my hobbies / interests / things I'd like to dabble in, and I feel like it's hard to manage sometimes. Moreover, when I joined the Boards in 2020, I tried dabbling in just about everything I could. But eventually, I began feeling burnt out, which is why I stepped away and dropped pretty much everything. I'd like to be involved to some consistent capacity again, but frankly I don't want to commit to something long-term, only to drop it again; I want to try to break out of that habit. I've had ideas for things I'd like to do, but I just don't know how much time or motivation I'd have, it seems to fluctuate based on my mood. I'm thinking maybe the solution is to stick to just a couple of things, and focus on doing those on a reliable basis, vs. getting involved in too many things like I did in 2020. I would like to write a 'Shroom section again at the very least.

Your plan sounds solid, start small and pop in as time/motivation allows and you find things going on that interest you. It's easier to scale things up than down, I feel. You can always get more involved if you find that's something you want to do as time goes on, but taking on too much at once risks burning yourself out.

Sticking to just one or two things is a very respectable approach. There's nothing wrong with light, steady participation in a space - and it better allows for the occasional dip into something unexpected. I find that having the latitude to occasionally take on some kind of one-off project on a whim outside of the usual fare helps a lot with keeping one's energy up.

From my time on here Ive found that participateing in the shroom alongside my school work is the perfect balance, plus if you have more free time after you finish your shroom thing youll be able to do what you want, however I will say if you do do something addional alongside your shcool and shroom theing mae sure its something simple that you can get done, too many times have I done an addional thing that added onto the things I was already doing which was really long, forcing me to slack/negelct either my work or section, and if you DO have a major story event or thing planned, make sure to plan ahead and put aside some time for it, infact I sometimes have a list of things in gonna write or storys and collabs im gonna do, and plan them out in advance.

First time visiting the Nintendo Store in San Francisco today! Didn't get any merch. Gonna try to get some tomorrow. They had a slick Zelda jacket but it was like $80.

I went to the one in New York and the jacket was $90-$100 I said "Nope Nope Nope I'm not doing it" I wish I wasn't expensive and I bet that one may be of low quality. The game stations and MIRT stuff sucks.

I am sooo stuck on the boo minigame in Super Princess Peach Shriek Mansion 3-6. There are way too many boos for me to tap them all away before they make it to the top screen and hit Peach (especially the Big Boos which take many taps to defeat), and it moves too fast for me to track which boos will and won't hit Peach.

Hmm...its been a while since I played SPP, but when I faced King Boo, some of the Boos in the minigame took less hits to defeat than others. Maybe you should practice tapping the stylus at a rapid pace. Not too fast, but enough that you'll be able to face the boss.
