I heard the next Mario Party game will be released as a pair of similar games (in the fashion of Pokemon). The two titles are rumored to be Mario Democratic Party and Mario Republican Party.
I managed to finish reading all of this month's issue of The 'Shroom! A job well done to all writers, and thank you to Waluigi Time for highlighting my 30 Fake News section milestone in 'Shroom Report! And of course thanks to anyone who reached out to me in DMs to offer me words of appreciation for the work I do for The 'Shroom! It makes me happy to see that my passion for the newspaper is being met with positive reception!
I had a pretty fun day today! Went out for a car ride with my family, and we stopped to take a nature walk along the way, and after that, we stopped at a restaurant to have dinner. Once I get home, I might try to read the Strategy Wing sections in this month's issue of The 'Shroom.
Things I just found out:
1. Miyamoto thinks of Mario characters as actors.
2. Mario and Peach's height difference is super inconsistent.
3. Elsa is kinda similar to Rosalina. (and Rosa had a track called "Rosalina's Ice World", which came out years before Elsa so I'm assuming Disney was inspired by Rosa or something like that.
4. American Greetings made both the Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake. Both franchises began with an appearance on a greeting card.
5. Robbie from Care Bears: Unlock the Magic is a male in the Spanish dub. (she is female in English but the weird thing is that her original design was kept (not that I would expect the producers to change her design to remove her eyelashes (female characters in UtM have eyelashes) but it's weird how instead of keeping her female they swapped her gender instead. (probably because of her name))
I once asked about if Mario actually stole the Princess Peach statue in the Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 article, because the context of the game (between manual and the ending) indicates that Mario isn't a thief.
One person responded that he in fact did, even though the game's actions didn't line up. Separately from that response, the person mentioned how it's all semantics (indicating that it is too insignificant to argue about). But I would say that for a wiki, putting in the accurate semantic is important because, wikis are meant to be factual so if we misrepresent a fact, then it would send the wrong message.
One recent thing that it happened was that DK's Stone Statue mentioned how the star purchase was like Faire Square, which should've imply that you can buy multiple stars, but can be assumed as maxing out to 5 stars only. But that's not the case. A Let's Play collab got it wrong from this article, which affected the players' decision making.
I can already imagine that if it weren't changed to more accurately portray the game's event, some guy will use the original sentence (of Mario stealing the statue like he's a thief) as proof that Mario's a villain.
im tired of being the kind of person that brings out the worst in people
got banned from a place for owning a queerphobe because said queerphobe manipulated screenshots to make me look in the wrong.
the fact an anti-lgbtqia person is believed over me just because one mod has a bias against me specifically is wilddd
During this weekend (starting now) I will be playing Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (100% the games too!), so I won't be as active as I usually am. Fear not! I'll still check in from time to time.
I saw both models of Atari Lynx today. Turns out they're about the size of a loaf of bread, even though the screen resolution is pretty much nothing by nothing.
