Wii Sports Resort had some fun games that Mario hasn't touched yet. Imagine having Mario do Skydiving or Showdown...or an Dogfight minigame in the Sky Pop!

If there IS going to be a Mario Party 9, it would be either for the Wii or the 3DS.

Wii. A Mario Party on the 3DS will just be called "Mario Party 3DS".

i think miis work as playables in mario games

Well if you look at the main wiki, it says Nintendo bought Mario party developers. Maybe that means they are working on the next Mario party.

[Lily x]

yeah

I think a Mario Party 3DS is more likely than a Mario Party 9.

[Lily x]

i have only played the ds one, and from that i think mario party needs more of... everything! character, boards, items and minigames

They really did as much as they could with the DS hardware.
