I cannot believe I'm about to lose before the actual rat does. So much for having a trophy to go with my report. "10th" has nowhere near the amount of grace and stardom as a podium position. Maybe this really is just a dumb game.

You should consider yourself lucky Mr. Graphite, since your Net got you a card back while mine got nothing.

I'm going to be pretty busy for the next couple of days so I'm pushing back the time limit by 12 hours this round.

[And with that, the Golbat had lost its final card. Surprisingly, for a creature with no knowledge on how to play the game, it progressed somewhat far, and managed to eliminate some yellow-clad individual.]

[It has a smile on its face, as though the game brought it joy despite its loss. Suddenly, the grin is enveloped by a bright, blue glow, and the bat grows larger, gaining another pair of wings and a purplish hue.]

[Overjoyed, the Crobat flies off, screeching goodbye as it goes. It is happy to have made friends along the way.]

It feels AWESOME! But truth be told, I always knew I'd make it to the top. I've yet to meet someone capable of matching my caliber. Not to say my competitors haven't tried! I've seen how many times I've been attacked. But my defence tactics are UNMATCHED! You'll have to try harder than that if you want a chance at beating me!

The bat underwent instantaneous metamorphosis? Magical metamorphosis? Well, however it advanced in life, good on it. You'll have to forgive me, biology has never been a strong suit, and magic biology more so.

GRAAAAHHH! CURSES! CURSES! CURSES! How could I lose? And so easily too?! BAH! Forget it, I had a good run while it lasted, oh well, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, GRAPHITE GUY, AWAYYYYY!
