I'm bored, so I thought of hosting my very own Everyone is Mafia game! I've seen Zange's version from January, and with permission from Zange, I'm allowed to host this game.
This is a low-stakes game that won't take up much of your time at all! All you need to do is check the forum and your PMs and respond as needed.
This game uses the same rules as Zange's version, so I've copied/pasted them with permission:
RULES
- This game will be played anonymously. When you sign up, you must PM me a nickname or an alias you would like to go by in the game. When the game begins, I will post a list of everyone's alias. These names are your targets.
- Every player will have 1 "shot" per night. You may pick any single person to shoot each night. You must PM ME your shot every night using the same PM you sent your alias in. You're not allowed to use your shot on yourself.
- In addition, every player will start the game with one Bullet Proof Vest(BPV). A BPV will protect against any ONE shot over the course of the entire game. If you are targeted by more shots than you have vests(ex: Player A is targeted by 2 shots on Night 1) then you will die.
- In addition to the list of aliases, I will post a list of users who are alive. The names won't correspond directly to the aliases, and you aren't allowed to PM me saying "shoot Sparks", it has to be one from the alias list. This list is just for informational/bragging purposes.
- Once a player is dead they cannot be revived under any circumstances later in the game, dead means dead. This also means no posting or giving away info if you're dead.
- Posting in thread as well as communicating via outside means is fine, telling people your alias is fine, forming alliances is fine, betrayals are fine, nearly everything is permitted. Just don't be rude to each other! Try not to RP as your alias because it'll make you vulnerable.
- Each night lasts 24 hours max, and anyone who fails to submit will have their weapons blow up in their face (aka: be removed from the game)
- Once I receive all actions, and publicly declare it, actions are considered locked and phase ends. Results will be posted and the next phase will begin immediately.
OK I did change that one instance of "Zange" to "Sparks!" If you want a general idea of how the game goes, check out Zange's game and see how it played out.
TO SIGN UP
1. Post anything in bold in this thread. If your message isn't bolded, then I won't count it as signing up. Make it bold!
2. In a private message to me, send something that you would like to use as an alias for the game. This could be a fictional character, inanimate objects, or something silly and made up. As long as it doesn't break forum rules it can be anything you'd like!
Please note that your spot in the game is NOT confirmed until I have an alias from you!
Zange had 16 players as the limit, so I'll do the same. 24 Players because this got popular! First come first served! The game will begin on
. If the player limit isn't reached, the game will begin regardless.
The game will continue until one player remains or if everyone dies. Hopefully the latter doesn't happen!
