The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (Spring 2026)

I think it's a mixed of pros and cons that deserve an average rating. The problems are actually very simple and giant.

1) Yoshi's sudden debut with the entire Dino Island story skipped. The problem is, Yoshi's relationship with Mario bros is basically great from the start for no reason without Dino Island's past, het gets no development and story and his friendship with others just feels too shallow. Yet, it kinda wastes and overlooks Yoshi's potential to be the center of a serious story.
I think this further proves why we should had got a Yoshi's Island movie before jumping onto Galaxy.

2) Bowser's story kinda suks if you ask me. It feels sad to temporary want to be a good guy yet get easily convinced by Jr to be evil again. I think it would had bee a much better writing if Bowser stays unsure about redemption and revenge, and eventually decides to be good and tells his son that he was never the right role model for Jr to learn from. The story doesn't end at the right place, as if Miyamoto's opinion is "you should always listen to your parent/child even if you know they're not doing the right thing."
If they need Bowser's fight anyway, they could had just used Kamek's magic to brainwash Bowser temporarily, or make Dry Bowser just a magical duplicate.

3) Wart gang's role being exclusive to the casino is a bit waste, and it's weird both because they're part of the poster, and they're actually Bowser's alliance but basically do nothing in the final battle. It would be much better to have them in the final battle and then send all of them into slammers.

4) Fox's entry is easily arguable. I'm saying this based on the fact Galaxy already got Captain Lubba in a similiar role, and she should had been the one to travel with Mario first. Besides, it would also be a better surprise for Fox to make heroic entry when Lubba's airship gets crashed. They don't really need to throw Lubba under the bus.

5) Power-up super underused outside the final battle. Since they say Toad's package is important because he puts in key items (not just the money pay for travel), we should get to see heroes use transformation everywhere. Also Peach basically doesn't get any transformation, that's kinda awful because she's the real main focus of the story, and didn't get any transformation in the original Galaxy game. It would be much more impactful if Peach saves Rosalina in her newly gained power-up.

6) I didn't have high hope, but I absolutely don't like the absence of Tatanga and Orbulon. It's especially weird when you bring the Sarasaland princess into the attention but don't notice that Tatanga has more to do with the theme. Why not just say Tatanga is another alliance of Bowser?

The rest of original story and adaption are okay to me.

the movie was EPIC! it was awesome home to me. It made me feel like a kid again.

I would like to discuss the elephant in the room:Fox
McCloud

Although his appearance does not make any sense to the plot of the movie along with the Pikmin and Mr. Game N Watch whatsoever , (although it was short for the both of them) I am so glad that they kind of use him as a sub main character, he was actually a good use and don't blame me if you don't like it, but I kind of like it and I hope he gets his own movie. Now, the 30-40-year-old gamers who played Starfox, Furries & haters will thank both Nintendo & Illumination & will now shut up.

One thing that I did not know that about in the movie is that Peach and Roaslinia are sisters which made me very disappointed and confused because making them sisters is a hinder to the plot of the movie.

The part where Mario, Luigi & Toad are being turned into babies using the super scope ray made me very uncomfortable due to the trope of adults being turned into babies is pure fucking f*tsh fuel. ( I know thsat people on Twitter, bluesky and other social media for into these type of stuff are going to rage rn as I speak)

The Bowser and Bowser Jr. scene with the puppets we was very touching.

I don't like the fact that Wart and the gang's appearance were shorts and most of the characters (such as Rob) were like very forgettable) the Lumas are literally adorable.

I also like the storybook cut out and the little stuffed animals and cardboard cutouts of the characters and backgrounds.

The fact that Junior uses a machine to torment Mario & Peach that looks like an SNES/NES is so cool. The scenes (albeit short) were very intense.

THE MARIO TEACHES TYPING REFERENCE WAS A DEEP CUT (ALONG WITH OTHER DEEP CUTS)

YOSHI
WAS
SO
FREAKING
CUTEEEEEE!!!!!
I loved the way the talked and his mannerisms, I wish I can get a plushy of him

Toad is very mean to Yoshi which I didn't like

Why do people complain about Peach being a badass. She was EPIC in this movie.

I wish Tryclyde and Fryguy were in the casino but that's okay

Lumalee returns at the end of the movie 0-0 very unexpected and weird.

Bowser was friendly towards the brothers at one point and turned into his bone form that was a plus for me.

I don't know why mixed power-ups from every mainline game and that's the one that confuse me.

I don't like the forced romance subplot it's really icky.

I would give the movie a 6 out of 10 not bad but I think it could be better.

i'm going to give two spoiler tags. the first are my general thoughts on the movie & the actual plot. the second is me screaming about a blink and you miss it reference.

i have no idea what the negative reviewers were smoking, this was a great film. Peach and Rosalina being sisters caught me by surprise, but they surprisingly handle it well & naturally. My condolences to everyone who ships them though.

I loved Bowser's little redemption arc in the middle of the film. Kind of disappointed it just kinda got reverted since it seemed genuine. At least the door is open to explore that further, since Mario did save Bowser Jr. at the end. Speaking of Jr., his bond with his dad is adorable. But it makes me hope these characters aren't doomed to be the ones being fought against for every movie. Not only do I want to see them grow into more versatile characters, I want to see other villains get their time in the spotlight, which the second spoiler tag actually gives me a grain of hope for.

Not a fan of the continued inching toward a romance between Mario and Peach. I just really don't think the main cast needs to be paired up in relationships, and of all the ones possible I just think that one is the most bogstandard you can get. Male protagonist and central female character who happens to be conventionally attractive. And it looks like they're even planting the seeds for Luigi to immediately fall for Daisy in the next movie, given his line about Peach "having a friend for him" and Daisy being introduced in the post-credits scene. Yawn, the ships I want will never happen but that doesn't mean they have to make these an official thing.

Love that Foreman Spike at least got a cameo. I was hoping for a little more of Brooklyn than just a quick exposition flashback from Yoshi. The Fox McCloud stuff, i guess the way it was explained made sense. If you're gonna bring in interdimensional travel, I'm not sure why you wouldn't first consider the alternate dimensions within the Marioverse, though those at least did get tiny cameos (see second spoiler)

E. Gadd also got alluded to, but it's odd how they chose to do so. Kamek has a mug with his emblem (a possible Starbeans reference) and Bowser Jr. has what appears to be E. Gadd's chair. But the one thing Bowser Jr. owns that originally had E. Gadd's logo, and that is still very central to this movie, his magic paintbrush, DOESN'T have the logo. The most obvious place to put it was passed up and it was put elsewhere instead. Not really sure what the logic could've possibly been for that choice.

Wart's segment was fun. It seemed like it was building up to some interaction between him and the Bowsers though, and that never happened. Overall a fantastic movie, and once again evidence that the film review industry has its head up its ass.

THE RPGS ARE REALLLLLLLLLL
vlcsnap-2026-04-01-18h08m44s044.png

I'M ACTUALLY DREAMING RIGHT NOW HOW IS THIS REAL. LIKE THE STARBEANS THING COULD BE DEBATED BUT THIS? AS CUT AND DRY AS IT GETS.
We have TWO FUCKING SPM REFERENCES HERE. THE DARK PROGNOSTICUS AND TIPPI. Not to mention even a reference to BROTHERSHIP, which is crazy given how that wasn't even out when this movie started development. And what looks like the book from TTYD is here too! Also yeah there's a sneak in there but at least we don't live in the timeline where that's the only reference they put. There's also a Shine Sprite, but Piantas appear in the flesh (plus you know, Bowser Jr) so i don't think that's as huge of a deal. (does make Toadsworth's absence sting more tho)

The question is, IS TIPPI MEANT TO REPRESENT THE LIGHT PROGNOSTICUS OR WHAT IS THE IMPLICATION

WHAT IS THE IMPLICATION OF ROSALINA OWNING THE FUCKING DARK PROGNOSTICUS AAAAAAAA

Saw the movie and it's AWESOME. Definitely enjoyed it much more than the first one.
Hello maggots!

The first half was amazing. 10/10. There is a point in time where they start running out of jokes. And it gets slightly more boring.

My favorite scene was the puppet show. Seeing an even younger Bowser Jr. was just insane, and then Bowser doing that puppet show was just even crazier. LOVED IT. The bees were also great. I wish the honey mines scene was a bit longer.

I wasn't bothered by the non-Mario characters. And they did create funny moments.

I was skeptical on how they were going to handle Yoshi as he's one of my favorite characters. And I'd say they did a fantastic job! Every character interaction with him was great.

I loved the penguins carrying around blocks of ice as luggage at Gateway Galaxy. Genius.

I got caught off guard when Ukiki started talking since I've never heard his voice.

Still cringe when Mario calls Luigi "Lu".

There was a point in time when I remembered Peach and Toad at Gateway Galaxy and then later in the movie they somehow were in Neo Bowser City. But then I remembered they went through the brick wall. Must have been a portal. It is a reference to the Warp Zone and the Minus World after all. Reviewers might have gotten confused by that. It is some crazy Mario lore.

Now for the climax. Or climaxes? Rosalina and Peach's climax was good. Something felt off about the fight with Bowser and Jr. climax tho. I dunno. I feel like Bowser should have stayed good. Seeing Dry Bowser was cool, I guess.

I can see how general movie reviewers didn't like the movie. It really is made for Mario fans. And I think that's a good thing. It means Illumination can go all in on the Mario universe... and they did!

Edit: Almost forgot about the reference to MARIO TEACHES TYPING of all things. I could not believe my ears when I heard Luigi sing that song. What an extremely deep cut.

Socond Edit: I do like all the musical references throughout the movie. But at times it can be a bit overwhelming. I had this problem with the first movie too. I was curious to see what the main theme would be and then the main theme for the first movie starts playing and I'm like. Oh. I guess that makes sense. It is pretty iconic.

Use one poster to conclude the story:

I loved Bowser's little redemption arc in the middle of the film. Kind of disappointed it just kinda got reverted since it seemed genuine. At least the door is open to explore that further, since Mario did save Bowser Jr. at the end.

I l think the general problem is what is exactly Bowser and BJr's lesson from this journey? If redemption and education are the themes, they could had developed a very good side story, but it would be very shallow if they're just being big villains yet again. Yet, accepting every bad idea from your family is an even worse message from the story.

Besides, we know Bowser and Jr need to reach to the final phrase where they have to become Mario's best frenemy who'd occasionally fight and then do tennis duo the next day. Slammer ending seems overdone and it misses the balance point.

But I have to say the prologue doesn't give enouh details about the "rehabilitation program" to show how Bowser went through during the time. Another thing is, Mario's attitude has not been too posiitve--- I know what Bowser did in the first movie was awful, but it's also not bright for Mario to keep despising Bowser all the way during the rehabilitation. I think Bowser's feeling is comprehensible because he really had enough with Mario's bad temper.

I think the story could had been better written in this way:
*Honey Queen punishes both Mario and Bowser to do labor in Honeyhive Garden. During the process, Mario teaches Bowser how to make pipe irrigation system, and Bowser helps Mario alot. They developed a positive relationship via this event.
*Bowser once decide to support his son, but he notice that his son gets bullied at boarding school, and something is wrong with his education. He finally protects Mario from Jr's fatal attack and ask Jr to stop. Jr thinks Mario robs his dad and becomes angrier, summons fake Dry Bowser as an attempt to finish Mario's life, and the final scene from the movie happens.
*Or maybe Bowser observes how Rosalina treats her Luma kids, he learns from her and finds out that Rosalina does a better parenting job, he feels regrets and wants to be a better role model for Jr. This could also had been a good chance to combine Bowser's story with Rosalina's

Finally saw the movie. Now to discuss my thoughts…

If there was one thing I could take away from this film, it would be how they made Rosalina and Peach related by some dumb backstory. I think some of the writers were watching too much MatPat and now they're making it canon to the Illumination Mario universe. What makes me more angry is how people who aren't familiar with the Mario franchise and only saw the movies are going to now think they are related, even though they were never supposed to be, and aren't in the games.

Besides that, I really enjoyed this film! It is a huge improvement over the Bros. movie and I think its the best Mario film so far, with The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach as a close second. I know a lot of people think this movie is basically the Nintendo equivalent of jingling keys in front of babies, and while it is a jingling keys film, it is a GREAT jingling keys film.

I don't mind the movie receiving a low score from critics and I'll probably agree with the story and pacing criticisms I see.

However, what I am really not enjoying is how the reviews are filled with negative hyperbole about the film.

"end of cinema"
"worse than AI"
"caused me physical pain"

This is not constructive criticism at all. If you have genuine, legitimate criticism about the film, by all means say so, but please don't do this to draw attention to your review or stir up the fans.

So, I saw the new movie twice with my family... I thought it was pretty good. Every time I see the criticisms, I just brush it off and say to myself, "This'll be good in the next 5 years..." I say the same to the previous one. It's not a perfect movie by any means, but God...chill out, critics! If anything, that's just the world. Some people just hate what we like, which is tragic.

So...yeah. I wish I could say stuff about the easter egg bonanza, but the best I could do is save my energy and use it on the plot... So...the plot... It's somewhat self-explanatory, but worthwhile. So basically Rosalina is the new Luigi, Bowser Jr. helped his dad connect back to his true roots and Mario has talks to his brother about being in love with Peach. In my opinion, I thought the B-plot with the Bowsers was something else... Bowser basically was stuck in his place in the castle for God knows how long and was practically rusty from when Jr. came to bring him back via his spacecraft. It was pretty much the biggest highlight of this movie... I didn't like how Rosalina was used; she was only served as the film's catalyst for the plot, much like Luigi in the first film. But, it's fine... Can't go wrong with that sorta narrative... I wish Mario's Peach crush plot had more depth cause it was aborted midway into the film... Maybe it'll get more depth in the next one...? Also, I wasn't expecting of all characters Fox McCloud... I've never played Star Fox, although I've seen videos and parodies about it... The best I could say in my mind is, "Who the heck is this guy?" The same answer goes to the general public cause let's face it, there's a good chunk of people who's never played Star Fox aside from people who witnessed it on the internet or played it before. It does however give me hope knowing that characters like Isabelle could show up in the next film... Who knows? Time will tell.

Okay, this wouldn't count big spoiler: but it's a weird but not surprising thing: nobody questions Bowser's son's origin in the whole progress.

It's weird since we follow Mario's perspective, and he had not known too much about Bowser so far. You can say the game didn't have to, since not only dialogue rarely happened, but Mario cannot speak also. But the movie script should follow common logic better.

It's not even privacy issue since Bowser already tried to marry Peach and family introduction has always been his obligation. It's unnatural for Mario to not question "how dare you ask Peach to marry you without introducing your son?" as Mario has very deep feel for Peach in movie story so far.

Plus, it's weird when Peach's family becomes a real topic in the movie but BJr's part is always vague. At least BJr did want to find his family in the original Sunshine game.

It would be how they made Rosalina and Peach related by some dumb backstory. What makes me more angry is how people who aren't familiar with the Mario franchise and only saw the movies are going to now think they are related, even though they were never supposed to be, and aren't in the games.

First of all, game canons changes from time to time and contradiction exists. Updating the canon isn't necessarily bad if it does a better job than the original. I think removing Yoshi's Island from Mario's childhood works better for this complaint.

As for Rosalina's origin, I think it works. Rosalina had some controversial issues back when she was introduced:
1) Why design a new character that is so similiar with Peach, why can't Nintendo do a much different design.
2) Why Rosalina can be a regular cast, despite she's very much a one-off character in setting and she doesn't relate to any other main character in the main series. It's not like we see Rosalina developed enough friendship with Mario and Peach (which isn't false, tho)

The movie offers an answer to the two questions, and gives Rosalina a valid reason to stay as a Super Mario regular. Yeah, I get that Nintendo add this setting way too late, but it's better than nothing.

I think the bigger question is, you cannot revert the original game on Wii, but what about the NS2 version? It feels like they definitely could had hint on Rosalina's family in a new storybook chapter. (Also, it's really awkward they added Lubba's story but Lubba isn't even in the movie adaption.

I mean its not like the movie is "re-writing" the canon of the franchise (as loose a thing as that is) its just an adaptation doing its own thing.

I just came back from watching the movie, so here's a first-impressions opinion dump (spoilers obviously):

- I liked the action scenes, the boss fights and such. I wish they were more spaced apart from each other, 'cause it feels like they had them non-stop one after another, but they were fun to watch.
- Like with the last movie, I loved the references. I watched the movie with my sisters, I had to explain a lot of references to them lol
- I liked Bowser's "redemption" plot midway through, I kinda thought they were gonna stick to it at least to some degree; like when Jr. was convincing him to destroy the universe, he'd have some sort of internal struggle. Dry Bowser was fun if a bit predictable, but I wonder what they'll do with Bowser & Jr. in the next movie (assuming there is one, which I'm sure there will be).
- Fox was funny 'cause it feels like he came out of nowhere, and yet he had a pretty large part in the movie. I would've loved to be a fly in the room when they pitched adding him to the movie, because I have to wonder how that even came to be - not just him being in the movie, but him having as large as a role as he did. (My sisters had no idea who he was, but I guess that's why they put an exposition dump.)
- I wish Rosalina had a bigger role, rather than being a damsel in distress for most of the movie. I like her backstory with Peach though; I don't know what the overall opinion on Peach and Rosalina being sisters are, but I kinda like it. I feel like that's been a fan theory for a while too.
- Oh, Mario saving Bowser Jr. at the end felt kinda out of nowhere? Maybe they'll address it in the next movie, but I kinda expected some half-reconciliation scene. (Like along the lines of Mario saying "I saved you, now scram before I change my mind.")
- I find the amount of non-Mario references pretty interesting. There were some in the first movie, but they were pretty tucked away, whereas here, ROB, Pikmin, Game & Watch and obviously Fox were front-and-center. Makes me wonder if there's some sort of grander Nintendo universe planned, or if they just want to do more out-there Nintendo references.
- I find it interesting that were whole sections based around Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Odyssey, and the scene where Mario and Luigi were doing chores for the kingdom felt like a big SMB3 and SMW montage. I wonder if SMB2 was specifically highlighted 'cause it's the second Mario movie, or it's just a coincidence (I feel like it's the former, 'cause I don't think they reference SMB2 that often.)
- I liked the Super Mario Galaxy focus too. I've heard offhand that the movie didn't focus that much on the Galaxy part, but I thought that it was fairly prominent. At the very least, it permeated throughout the movie (unlike, say, SMB2, which was only in one scene). I haven't played SMG2, so maybe it's that, but I spotted way more SMG1 references. The only SMG2 references I can think off of memory are the power-ups. (And some music, I think?)
- I kind of thought Wart would play a bigger role, I think it would've been cool for him to be the secondary villain or something along those lines. Ultimately he only really had one scene, feels like he should've been given more.
- I think the biggest complaint for the movie, for me, would be the lack of structure. I know that was already a criticism of the first movie, but I feel it was more structured, at least from the get-go with it starting in Brooklyn. This movie, comparatively, took off much faster, and felt like it had to juggle between various characters from the very start.
- I loved when the movie shifted to different styles. The style they used for the Star Fox expo-dump was fun, as was when Mario and Peach were doing that one platforming level and it showed up on Bowser's screen as a 2D level, felt right out of Mario Maker (when's the Mario Maker recreation?). The ending when they were rebuilding the castle in the SMW style was fun, interesting to see an official sprite of Rosalina in the SMW style.
- The father-son bond between Bowser and Jr. was pretty neat, I liked the puppet show stuff (they even used that style for the credits).
- Yoshi's backstory montage was fun, I liked it. I also noticed this movie had a lot of quick cuts to the next scene, but I think they were used the best here. I thought Yoshi was pretty fun in this movie overall.
- I didn't even realize this until now, but no licensed songs, yay (at least in terms of lyrical ones, if there were non-lyrical ones I didn't recognize them).
- And lastly, the post-credits scene with Daisy. Not much to say about it, but with what the movie alluded to earlier, I have a feeling the next movie will have some sort of simultaneous relationship plot between Mario and Peach as well as Luigi and Daisy.

So overall, I liked the movie, I'd say I had a great time watching it. But like the first one, it was mainly entertaining from watching all the stuff from the games translated to the big screen, and seeing how many Easter eggs I could find. I can see how, when watching the movie from a critical lens, and focusing on the story (like how I imagine a lot of movie reviewers are doing), they wouldn't get that much enjoyment out of it.

I heard that Glen Powell asked to play as Fox McCloud and Illumination was like, Ok sure, we'll put him in the movie. So they asked Miyamoto if it was ok to add Fox McCloud and he said, actually it's not up to me. Let me ask Nintendo. So he did and Nintendo said go for it. So that's how It happed. Same kinda thing with the rest of the non-Mario characters. Seems like Illumination were the ones pushing for stuff like that. Except for Pikmin. That was Miyamoto.

I saw the movie on Thursday. It was impressive work, but there were some things that left me feeling baffled, or asking questions.

First off, how did Bowser learn about Rosalina during his flashback moment with Bowser Jr.? Did he find out about her from a chance meeting with the psychopathic Luma? It would at least give us an idea on how the psychopathic Luma ended up in a cage in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

As for Rosalina and Peach, who was the evil entity that tried to capture them during their childhood? It's a question that will likely have to be answered in the third movie.

Lastly, the way that Rosalina was handled in the movie was rather disappointing. She spends the majority of her screen time as Bowser Jr.'s prisoner, which felt like an insult when you look back at her advertising, But when you think it over, in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Luigi did spend a good amount of his screen time as Bowser's prisoner.

Okay, it's interesting to see more approved comment in social media is "even a guest like Fox had more lines than Rosalina, the core of the story."

But I personally don't find Rosalina's role too bad. She's the reason why Peach and her friends take action, so she's prisoned for good reason, and just like Luigi, Rosalina can participate in fighting in the following movie so we don't have to dissapoint right now. To me, there are more issues to count from this movie.

That said, I can understand why fans compare Fox to Rosalina. My answer would be we should introduce more different Galaxy characters in movie story, not just giving most the screentime to Fox only as if fans don't want to see other Galaxy characters.

I mean its not like the movie is "re-writing" the canon of the franchise (as loose a thing as that is) its just an adaptation doing its own thing.

Well I can forsee this argument coming. I'd still say the movie is a big and influential promotion of the franchise, so it'd be dumb for NIntendo to not consider about negative impact if they don't want people to acknowledge the movie story. If they use it, and it brings better effect, I think fans should support it.

Another reason could be that the main heroes have no reason to save a stranger, so it is used as a reason to build up the whole story. Which is again an acceptable setting because even the main series still needs to explain Rosalina's relationship with the main cast, as I said above.

Tbh due to Rosalina's absense from Mushroom Kingdom and mainline's non-dialogue nature, I don't think her relationship with Peach matters too much to the main canon. But the storybook was a small miss of chance for it to adapt to movie's settings beforehand.

I just hope that the third movie gives Rosalina a bigger role, much like how Luigi had a greater degree of involvement in the second movie than in the first movie. After all, we now have our main six protagonists with Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, Yoshi, and Rosalina being together like one happy family.

Of course, with Daisy being revealed after the credits, it would likely add the prospect of a seventh main protagonist if she develops a crush towards Luigi.

i really hope they DON'T go two for two on pairing the plumbers up with the most directly adjacent princess. I already think those two particular pairings are so boring and it's part of why I wish they'd just not bother with canon relationships and let fans interpret things how they want, because i know those two pairings are the only ones that they'd ever go with if they were to make them explicit. Especially since I don't think the characters i'd personally ship with Mario and Luigi have much of a chance at even being in the movies, and Pauline's been wasted on a cameo in the first movie already.

But sadly i expect them to. That one line from Luigi about Peach having a "friend for him" + Daisy being the post-credits reveal already feels like they're setting that up. Among the fandom, it's rare for anyone not to ship those two pairings specifically, even if i don't get the big whoop about them. With Luigi/Daisy it feels even more egregiously heteronormative because Luigi wasn't even in Mario Land to have any history with her, they literally conceived that ship directly from looking at the pairing of Mario & Peach that was born from the tired damsel rescue trope, and having the mindset of "ok now we need a girl for Luigi" because back then love interests were treated as implicitly opposite gender. I just really don't want pairings conceived during that time to be set in stone, because if they were deciding the love interests today i think it would be a lot more interesting. But since that's not on the table, I'd have at least liked them to treat the movies like they treated the games and not dwell on that stuff beyond light teases.

Yes, I actually already predicted that Daisy will appear because Luigi said that in the middle of story. Daisy's story in the movie will definitely require alot of revamp and originality since the orignial SML story wasn't that rich. Luigi hasn't got leading moments in the two previous films, so it's no brainer to predict he'd take the lead in the third film with Daisy.

As for romance, well I'm a shipper so I'm defnitely supportive in romance. But there is still a problem with the story this time. Mario seemed to have some mental problem in going for Peach at first, but the latter part of the film didn't mention his issue ever again, which is a lack in Mario's development for this film. I know Peach and Mario would still stay as friends, but seem like Nintendo push it too fast and the two act too intimate as friends at this point.

(Okay, some how that echoes to the Frozen joke above, because Kristoff had similiar issue like Mario in his sequel despite Kristoff already dates Anna.

I think fandom is rather curious if Rosalina will date any guy from the main cast, or she is exactly Nintendo's Elsa.

I think fandom is rather curious if Rosalina will date any guy from the main cast, or she is exactly Nintendo's Elsa.
if Rosalina were to date anyone I'd like it to be Daisy since that's my OTP, but since that will never happen I'd rather they just not focus on shipping. I heavily dislike the notion that any hypothetical love interest for any given character must intrinsically be of the opposite gender.
