the official "u did it" thread

Didn't say anything last week about Least Terns from Bolsa Chica, so I'm back here on schedule to talk about Least Terns every Saturday again.

They're just sitting there on the service road like always, but the stupid (yet native) pink plants are growing all over their nesting grounds, so that's pretty bad. There had been reported sightings of Snowy Plovers finally starting to arrive but I hadn't seen them today. Also, an Osprey yet again disrupted the Elegant Terns, it's always amusing to see a cloud of them fly around squawking like crazy.

It's not really that eventful, but the high tide was pretty nice there.

Forgot my laptop charger at home. I'm dying but will survive thanks to smartphones

Released the demo for Don Bradman Cricket 17 on Steam.

Had many late finishes the past couple of weeks trying to get everything ready and it all came together in the end. It's a good feeling.

My employer specialises in niche sports games, mainly ones that are popular in Australia (with some exceptions like Lacrosse) which would probably explain that. Know of any niche sports that are popular in Germany that I could drop a hint about? :b

In any case, Cricket is fairly global, just not in the US (or Germany.) It's popular in Australia, New Zealand, England, West Indies, South Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India, just to name a few. The game is similar to baseball but with heaps of mind games, and matches can last from a few hours to 5 days. It's worth giving a look, particularly if you like watching strategic games/sports.

Lots of stuff happened yesterday at the wetlands

For starters we saw Killdeer there. And then we saw little Killdeer chicks following the Killdeer and omg it's so precious!!!!

I also saw Semipalmated Plovers foraging and I've gotta say that Plovers are probably one of the cutest types of bird species in the world. I like how chick-like they look with their really long legs.

We also saw European Starlings eat those fuzzy caterpillars and it's amusing to watch those.

The damn pink plants are still growing over the Least Tern breeding grounds ugh.

Just took a math placement exam for college to see what level and math courses it recommends/suggests I should take. Finished in the highest/best level possible and have all math courses available to me.

God help me I am dead
