What game did you last play?!?!?!?

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl

Sometimes I stop in the menu and take a look at my characters because I somehow forgot what they looked like, despite appearing on the top screen for every battle. I tunnel vision to the left side of the screen so hard because I fly through the menus that I almost never see the actual character portrait just to the right of it.

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight

I realised I could give my War Magus a Dark Hunter grimoire to make up for the lack of ailments on my team for her to take advantage of. I gave up on the Hexer curses since they cost a lot for so little when you don't have the passives the Hexer class provides to make those skills worthwhile. It's not Blind but it's the next best thing.

Still hyped for Nexus, I thought about trying to fit a Survivalist into my planned team somewhere but it just wouldn't work out I don't think. The plan is Highlander/Hero + Arcanist/Zodiac Feat. War Magus.

Sonic Forces (Switch)
I collected all Red Star/Number/Silver Moon rings in Stage 7. Getting the Silver Moon rings took forever, but at least I unlocked Extra Stage 3!

Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)
I got a star in the 150cc Mushroom, Flower, and Star Cups. I attempted to get one on the Special Cup, but I eventually gave up.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)
I dusted off this game and continued my old Wii save file (the one with very little progress, not my 100% one). I got a total of 12 Power Stars, which is all I can currently get in World 1. This game, even after all these years, is still my favorite video game ever.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
I also got back to playing this one. I got the third Star Coin in World 9-5, but didn't do much else. I'm currently trying to get the Newer hack to be playable on my Wii, and I'm sure excited for when that happens!

Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City

Snakehead on floor 1 used Torpedo every other turn, gave me time to heal between the big dick damage. Snakehead on floor 2 uses it every turn alongside its little buddy debuffing my attack. I'm gonna need to figure out the timing on it and see how I can handle it because both my damage dealers would be dead by turn 2 and the only reason I survived my first trip is because my Hoplite is a god.

I did get greedy, I kept going despite knowing I could get wiped on any random encounter and basically shredded through all my Monk's TP. I mapped a nice amount so it's a good start.

Super Mario Galaxy

Doing post game stuff. That's a bit of an unpopular opinion but I enjoy most of the Purple coin challenges, especially the ones in which they spread them all across the level, with no time limit. It just feels so open worlded.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Love the new music I added in the game

Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)

Wow. This is my first time playing a ROM hack, and it's actually really good. This is really what I needed. Thanks, Newer Team!

Anyway, I beat World 1. The worlds are longer compared to those of the original game, but I see that as a good thing. That Big Fuzzy boss is harder than he looks, but I managed to beat him. Iggy's battle hasn't changed at all, though.

So...would I say that this is better than the original game? Well...it's almost as good. Although I personally think that the level design in the original was slightly better.

I also tried to download Another Super Mario Bros. Wii, but it would always crash on the green screen. I guess Riivolution doesn't support that game yet.

Sonic Forces (Switch)

I found some Red Rings in Stage 8, rematched the final boss, and watched that legendary "I AM NOT WEAK" cutscene again a million times over.

Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City

Still can't make it through the floor without some deaths but I found the stairs to the next floor so I feel like I'm in deep shit once I go down there if I can't handle what's above it. I managed to accidentally cheese the puzzle by getting pincer attacked by two FOE's and then when I ran away it pushed me in the direction of the stairs so I could just run there with the two of them on my tail.

Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan

man Arcanist's are just cool dude, circles are sick and Wufan is cute. I don't know if I'm stupid or if my Fortress just doesn't have enough HP to be tanking hits even from the backrow. My front-row is too busy but maybe it's time to think up some row-switching strats. New area looks nice but I've heard bad stories about this place.

that was some fucking good tea

It should support the game. Are you sure you downloaded the files right?

I don't know. I did download V2, so maybe V1 would work. I'll just try redownloading it.

guild fight wasn't worth mentioning, old man hurt his ankle and suicide isn't the answer

Front Row:

> Breo; Highlander (Bloody Offense, Delayed Charge, Cross Charge, Spear Assist)
Back Row;
> Hainan; Alchemist (Compression, Inferno Formula)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii)

Finished the main game during my offline time, first run where I actually got all of the hidden skills. Quite fond of the Mortal Draw.

Castlevania: the Adventure ReBirth (WiiWare)

Good 'ol Castlevania action.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Self-explanatory)

Was originally going to get all the star coins, but got kinda bored hunting them after World 2 so I just decided to do a regular run straight to Bowser instead.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)

Last saved at the Eldin Volcano after purchasing a Iron Shield at the Bazaar and doing a few random sidequests around Skyloft, would've continued but my Wiimote's batteries are dead and I have to wait until I can get some more. (We have an ENTIRE SOCK DRAWER full of Triple A batteries, but not even two decent Double As.)

Minecraft, Nintendo 3DS version.
I have built a minecart line I call The Wabash Cannonball after the song of the same name and I'm using the Mario world map.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Dolphin)
I finally managed to download the Dolphin and Cemu emulators on my desktop PC (my laptop is terribly slow), and I can now play GameCube, Wii, and Wii U games on my PC! I heard that playing on Dolphin upscales games to 1080p, but when I tried it, it looked worse than on my Wii. Still, the slightly blurry graphics didn't stop me. I played a few levels with my brother and sister.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 (Dolphin)
Well, Dolphin is my only shot at getting the Wii version of this game, so of course I instantly took the chance. This game is so much more fun with a Wiimote as opposed to phone controls. It actually feels like a platformer now. Anyway, I beat the first two acts of Splash Hill Zone.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)

Found some batteries for my Wiimote, still at Eldin Volcano. Last saved after obtaining all five key fragments which is kinda humorous since you also hunt down key fragments in Twilight Princess too, in the secondary lava-themed area no less.

What are your computer specs?

I don't know for sure, but I at least know that I have a 64-bit computer running Windows 10. This is a desktop computer and is much faster and more powerful than my sluggish laptop.

I even attempted to play Mario Sunshine on the emulator, and the 1080p graphics didn't look nearly as good as the YouTube videos made it seem. So it may be my computer specs, or just because I'm playing in full screen.

Fate/Grand Order

Prisma Illya event has started. Magical girl illya has nothing on magical thot medb. The battle music is better than what I was expecting.

I need to know what your graphics card is and your CPU processor.

For Windows 10, right click on the start bar and click on "System", that'll give you your CPU processor under "Device Specifications" (example my processor is an AMD(FX)-6300 6 core processor @ 3.50 ghz

Your graphics card info can be accessed by right clicking on the Start Bar, going to "Device Manager", and looking under "Display Adapter" (the graphics card I'm using right now is an AMD Radeon R9 270). The graphics card is the one primarily responsible for rendering your game.

Yeah your graphics card doesn't sound that great, maybe that's why you couldn't render GCN emulation that well.

Okay, that makes sense. The graphics haven't been too bad, though. I can live with them.

Anyway...

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 (Dolphin)
I beat the rest of Splash Hill Zone, as well as Casino Street Zone. It's a fun game, but also pretty short considering how I've already beaten half the episode. I only wish they had released Episode 2 on Wii; the Wii Remote is so comfortable to play with.

Super Mario Sunshine (Dolphin)
Emulated controls on the keyboard are awful. It seems like a fun game, but the poor emulator controls ruin the experience. Although once I get a GameCube, I'll be more than willing to give it another shot. Anyway, I got two Shines: Delfino Airstrip Dilemma and Road to the Big Windmill.

MUGEN
Peter Griffin eats Mario's fists. A lot.

Left 4 Dead 2, but uh, maybe something else would be interesting

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Used the Nairo modpack, and after playing a lot of melee, yeah it was hard to get used to.

Not only did it feel slower without the wavedashing and such, but the buffer really annoys me too. I often end up doing a forward tilt after a jab without purpose.

God I hope Smash Ultimate is way faster
