7. Super Mario Galaxies 1 and 2 music, In the Finale from BIS besides others in the game, Superstar Saga (though, I really don't like the Teehee Valley music in the remake), and Super Mario 64 (DS).

8. Zelda: Triforce Heroes may be one.

10. Probably DKC trilogy (all GBA games)

12. Besides that Smash game I played, I never been interested in T games, but even more so afterwards. And I haven't been interested in Smash since.

Even though someone might dislike fighting games, if they own a Nintendo console, then I say you gotta play a Smash game.

Honestly, this poll assumes that the "everyone" bit is open-minded on what games they play and still know how good it is despite not being up to their taste. Some may not like platformers, some may not like shooters, and yeah some may not like fighting games etc. But when you pick a game, it's under the assumption that this person likes the genre and is a must-play. Like, if you're a platformer fan, you should play a Mario game. If you're an FPS fan, you should play Doom. That sort of thing.

donkey kong country tropical freeze
ive said it a hundred times already but im gonna say it again: this is an amazingly crafted platformer and one of the best games ive ever played so everyone else should go play it too :dk: :diddy:
when are we getting a funky kong emote :funky:

Although Mario Kart existed since the SNES, the original is probably difficult to recommend for everybody since it doesn't play with most of the other games. The Mario Kart games goes through a lot of refinement that make each passing game better and better, and while some of the games have weaknesses like Mario Kart Wii's item onslaught, its strengths cannot be understated. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a culmination of what Mario Kart has achieved:
  • It is a game that anybody could play: due to its arcade racer nature, the controls are easy to learn. It's also understood that to win, the player needs to reach the finish. Moreover, items help out players behind the pack to catch up so less-skilled players have a way to level the playing field. What is unique about 8 Deluxe is the fact that it has accessibility options, namely Smart Steering and Auto-Accelerate, meaning that those who couldn't grasp the game's controls well could active them to make the game easier to control.
  • The game has a lot of customisation. Not only does this game have the most playable characters in a Mario Kart game, it also presents kart customisation, plus game customisation. The amount of customisation the player caters to anybody, so for example if one wants to have the best-looking kart or they want to have stats that are more specialised, they can do that. If they want to have a challenge with CPUs or they just want to be ahead of the CPUs, they can do that.
  • Battle Mode has a lot of variety, as they included 5 different modes, and with 8 maps, that's 40 combinations that could be done. Although to some the previous games' Battle Mode are better, I felt that this game's variety puts it at the edge.

NanoRim has just reminded me that Pokemon is a very viable option. The best game to start with is the latest one, because to quote Kat Bailey of USGamer:

With Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon now available, it's fair for a newcomer to wonder if the latest game is where they should start. After all, you wouldn't necessarily want to start with Dark Souls 3, or even the latest Assassin's Creed.

But here's the key to understanding Pokemon: You should always start with the latest game in the series. It's the easiest way to maximize your enjoyment while connecting with the community at large.
