I would have loved to see it since I tend to favour animated shows as opposed to live-action ones. It would probably be joyously cheesy (or what other people would say: "stupid") and as a Mario fan that would likely be nice to experience. Actually I would wonder how an Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog move would be like even though SatAM is more favoured by America (namely because Archie Sonic is based on this version of Sonic).
