We were unofficially celebrating Mario Day, and Nintendo made this day official in 2016. Now they celebrating this day annually.

Happy Mario Day! Only in America does this day makes sense, due to the Month/Day format.

I think there are also some redemption items in My Nintendo that are related to Mario Day, such as the Mario's Moustache 3DS theme and some Mario games discount codes.

Like I said elsewhere, I'm surprised by this render: while the Super Mario Kart Pipe Frame already appeared in Mario Kart 8, this one has the original tires of Super Mario Kart, not the Standard Tires of Mario Kart 8, indicating that it's an ad-hoc model made for this occasion!
 
it's entirely possible that the tires are from an unused build instead of making it from scratch though

i mean, we have concept icon of the pipe frame's previous look from mario kart 8

I'll celebrate by playing lotsa Mario, and wearing a Mario cap, my Mario and Luigi wristbands, and a white Mario shirt because today's also Splatfest day and I'm on the team with white as its color.

Hilariously, today's also the day my box of White Cheddar Cheez-Its expire.

Okay, I just found this thread. While this post is kinda late, I actually did celebrate Mario Day. I got the Mario's Mighty Mustache and Super Mario: Pastel Pink 3DS themes from My Nintendo, as well as the Happy MAR10 Day wallpaper for computers and phones. I got the MK8DX Prima starter guide a little later. Lastly, I renamed my family’s group chat to "Happy MAR10 Day!" just for the occasion.

On a side note, Nintendo's bots deleted one of my Mario Maker levels for low popularity, but I saved a backup and uploaded that. Another one of my levels finally got enough players to join the Expert 100 Mario!
