Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash

I think they're dumb, but I'm okay with it if Square Enix decides to be cute with their characters.

Well, it's not their fault, really. I'm just annoyed they got in and important Mario characters didn't, but they didn't *replace* them or killed their chances.

I suppose it's worse for the strange Mario Tennis handhelds though.

confirmation of my long-held suspicion that Nintendo SPD 4 are incompetent shitheels

At first, Nintendo was against having Boo as a playable character, since he would be unable to hold a racquet in his hands.

Let’s take Mario for example: he has to be easy to play with, so that newcomers can play with him. But on the other hand, he shouldn’t be too strong, or players will never try to improve and learn. What’s more how could you make Mario, the star of the game, weak?
I heard that Mario is pretty bad in this game, so lol.

Otherwise, it doesn't tell us a lot on why the game lacked features even the original "spirit of Mario Tennis" had such as tournaments, an opening cutscene, trophy cutscenes, item battles, records, and sound options.

Boos can drive (King Boo in this sense) and kick a freaking soccer ball

Also, Goombas can hold baseball bats and gloves. Your arguments are invalid.
