Which is why most of the OCs in SMRPG look absolutely nothing like real Mario characters.

Square Enix has a tendency to put Final Fantasy characters in their games.

Well the Czar Dragon looks more like Blarg than anything else. That said Culex is an OC clearly meant to reference Final Fantasy, hell his boss theme is right out of FF4

Tendency is a key word.

Either way, Fortune Street is a crossover and a sequel to Itadaki Street DS.

On topic, they need a Yakuman DS in English so I can finally understand how Mahjong works. Kind of.
 
I wouldn't mind a Mario game that plays like Dragon Quest.
