if you're not interested in romance, then you're not interested in romance. people should stop trying to convince you to fall in love

this, plus trying to find love is really stupid since it'll end up bad.

It's better if you just go on your merry way.
That's exactly what I'm doing. :) Being myself is so easy.

Good, thats the mindset you need to have.

Being yourself is usually the most important factor.

I'm probably never going to be able to get a valentine/boyfriend, and I get slightly ticked off of someone says "You just haven't found the right person", because when you put mental disorders and instabilities in place, you'd see how it'd be extremely hard, if not impossible, to be in a relationship. Either way, I've never really been interested in boys and stuff anyways.

My mom doesn't really "celebrate" Valentine's Day (being honest here, she hates the holiday), but that doesn't really bother me.
Calm down, you're only 13 :P
That has nothing to do with it. The mental instabilities put into place really does make it near impossible. And even if I was stable, I probably wouldn't even want to get a boyfriend anyways. I've always hung out with guys more than girls, but I've never been interested in a real relationship anyways.

usually my parents buy me candy on VD but i'm not on good terms with them now so i'll probably just buy it myself and go through the day as a normal day

Romance is disgusting and boring.
Don't *bleep* on romance, it will find you someday. *bleep* on valentines day all you like, just don't *bleep* on love.
Gee, a variation of the "you just haven't found the right person" argument.

I can express myself whatever I want, and I'm not telling people that they should hate/love romance either.
you have a point

i suppose i sort of have a personal war going on with edginess right now, and you might know that that's what edgy people often say. But they often say other stuff too, which makes me think that I was wrong about you. My apologies.

I will say one thing to you all, however. love is literally all around us, whether you like it or not. It can be between two little love birds, nestling in a thicket of clothes at the mall, or it can be towards your very own family. You can choose not to embrace it, but it's just gonna bite you in the ass and tug on that bad boy until your nickname is blossom. YEAH THAT'S RIGHT, I USE METAPHORES. I can accept you if you don't want to love anybody, go ahead, you don't have to, I won't force you, you'll force yourself someday. Or not, heck, you could be an interesting case.

But there is one thing that you must never, ever do with your life. NEVER ACT EDGY. EDGY PEOPLE ARE ANNOYING. Saying that your heart is split into a million pieces and you'll never love again? That's edgy. That's annoying. Making yourself out to be some crazy maniac, when in reality you're just an average person who the world does not revolve around. That's edgy. That's annoying. Acting like you're some sort of badass while trying to impress people, when you're most likely a useless mong. That's edgy. That's annoying.

And for the love of god, if you have any sort of decency, make sure that if you're going to snog your other half, do it in private. We don't need to see that, thanks. Pecks on the lips and a few hugs are alright, but when you're basically molesting eachother in a bus shelter, and guys like me have to sit there, pushing your other half off my shoulder, that's wrong, that's annoying, and that warrants a few harsh words and maybe a punch up the bracket. I won't do that, though, cause that's edgy. The more you know.

Have a good valentine's day, and please, don't snog in public.

P.S: Snogging around your family is still in public, unless they don't give two shits. They're your family, you should know if they give two shits or not.

Oh, sure they are.

But do you imagine dating someone who has a close, sisterly relationship with her twin sister?
am i missing something here? i don't see what's wrong with dating someone who's close to their siblings

also this year i'm going skiing on feb 14 instead of worrying about love problems, so woooo

@Neptune - Pretty sure that's not what Edgy means.

Well, at least my darling told me that she may want to get together again one day.

Now I just have to wonder how long she means by that.

exactly that. When I tell people I have no interest in relationships, etc, they're like "omg you have serious problems" like being asexual is like a crime or something
