Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS Discussion

I was talking to someone on Facebook how Sakurai didn't specifically say it was "N's Castle", but rather "someone's castle". This guy is a big-time supporter of Ridley, and he uses the fact that Ridley was never explicitly mentioned by Sakurai as a means to justify that he might be playable. In comparison, he says that many other characters, including Takamaru this past Monday, were revealed right off the bat and didn't dance around the issue at all. He thinks that this might mean N could potentially have a bigger role in the upcoming Super Smash Bros., and wants to wait for a more dramatic reveal. Someone even suggested that N might be playable, but I highly doubt that.

Speaking of theories, I read somewhere that Milotic might actually be a form taken by Zoroark. It would make sense since Zoroark is associated with N.

Er, that's one heck of a "theory"....N's probably going to be a background character if anything. No way in hell he'll be playable because he can't use Pokemon because of transformations being gone and what would his moveset even be? Generic punching and fighting?

Also, Sakurai probably didn't mention it because A) it's pretty obvious who's castle it is, considering Reshiram is there and B) even though this sounds dumb and the game is three years old, it might because it's still kind if a big spoiler. I mean, it'll be spoiled when the games out anyways.

Edit: Also, Zoroark was confirmed to be a Pokeball Pokemon, so that wouldn't work.

Awesome! I wanted a character reveal, but this mode looks to be very fun!

It's probably going to be like April with a lot of specialized Directs for specific games. I'll be flabbergasted and utterly disappointed if there is no Smash Direct this month. Sakurai's hiding too much information and the game is nearing release for Japan so he might as well just drop one final load of info that will keep people busy for the last two months (month in Japan's) case. Besides, it's a good excuse to just drop the last two newcomer videos during then, one in the beginning, one at the end.

And yes, I believe there is at least two newcomer videos. I feel that if there was one more, Sakurai would have mentioned the next one being the last one during the Lucina/Robin one. He said "nearing the bottom of the barrel" which I feel 3 fits perfectly. It's a small enough number, yet isn't "near the bottom". I'd be happy if there's more, but I'm staying hopeful for at leas two.
