How was I overreacting? I was just stating my opinion; just because of the length of it doesn't mean that I was blowing my top off in anger over it.

To me it's more fun if you skillfully beat your opponent, not with the help of luck.

And don't give me that garbage about "oh it's about adapting to your circumstances". In no way is it balanced if a Starman appears on the opposite side of the stage and your opponent becomes invincible.

I never said that all items are fair.

I honestly think Motion Sensor Bombs are one of the fairest items (the ones before Brawl)

Yeah... some items are beyond broken. We're the type that turns off Dragoon Pieces, Golden Hammers, Bumpers, Uniras, and some others.

But we enable explosives and since our matches are Giant Melee/Brawl that runs for 17 minutes with 2.0 handicap, death from a Bob-omb spawning in front of you isn't a heavy loss.


In Melee, I think Screw Attacks and Motion Sensor Bombs are fair items.

I don't know if this is co-op boss mode. This could also be Megaman and Sonic fighting on Wily's Castle and Yellow Devil is a Stage Hazard. I was hoping Sakurai's caption would clear up on what it is. But no, it didn't.

Well, try saying that to that stupid yellow and blue plane thing (Herlin or whatever) or Tingle.
