it's called "attack them, throw them at people, and dodge them when thrown at you"

I really don't see any problem with overpowered items unique to a stage.

probably because they do so much damage they literally guarentee an instant ko.

It also doesnt help when you're fighting someone else at the time and its suddenly thrown at you.

It's broken and should never do that kind of damage and have that kind of knockback.
Yeah it sucks when you randomly get hit with it, but it's equally likely to hit anyone, so that kinda makes it fair

no it doesnt. that'd be like a character knocking you off at 50% damage because their moves are so powerful and quick.

I mean they're not to easy to dodge anyway as you can throw them at a pretty fast speed, and if you shield it just breaks which mean someone can just throw another one or charge up a powerful smash attack to send you flying.

There's nothing fair about it and there is so much wrong with it, its insane how broken it really is. I mean even hammers and bumpers are more balanced and that's saying something.

Mario Bros. is like entirely a cave of life until you get hit by an enemy

Off topic: Why is this still called the E3 2013 thread?
Because we need to make a new topic
It should just be Official Super Smash Bros. 4 Discussion.
Yay another thread for Smash Bros 4 that's exactly what we need!

and I liked Hanenbow ftr

Re: E3 2013 Super Smash Bros. 4 Discussion

well uh

backstory for a moment or two

every 2 weeks or so, sakurai does a column in weekly famitsu

in his most recent one, he dropped this:

the abridged version said:
"In the previous game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the development team took advantage of the rare occasion of having multiple different series' characters all appear in the same game, so we painstakingly created a special story called the Subspace Emissary, complete with cutscenes for players to enjoy. It was a project that obviously took a lot of thought, time, and energy. Unfortunately, the movie scenes we worked hard to create were uploaded onto the internet. You can only truly wow a player the first time he sees [a cutscene]. I felt if players saw the cutscenes outside of the game, they would no longer serve as rewards for playing the game, so I've decided against having them.

so uh, no cutscenes

Re: E3 2013 Super Smash Bros. 4 Discussion

I can change the title to meet the want for an in-general Discussion for SSB4. I could even put up most of the confirmed stuff we have already and just put what I said originally in the OP in a Spoiler Box or outright delete it altogether (Albeit doing that would make the first few posts about the false rumor out of context).

Re: E3 2013 Super Smash Bros. 4 Discussion

Unless there isn't any room in the OP for some reason, I think putting the original OP in a spoiler box would be much better than deleting it altogether. Other than that the changes would be great.

This feels like a jab against Let's Players.

almost seems like some lowdown excuse to me.

I liked the cutscenes in Brawl, sucks they aren't returning. :c
^My favorite one was when Galleom tries to self-destructing but Lucas' PK Thunder allowed him and Pokemon Trainer to escape, and Meta Knight saved them. Then Lucas and Pokemon Trainer shake hands. I actually cried at that scene...

Also, how is it taking away the "magic" of a cutscene if we choose to not spoil ourselves? >__>

Uh yeah, isn't it the player's choice to ruin the magic of a scene?

is this the pikmin stage?

The incredibly huge pizza is a giveway, unless it's some sort of twisted Tiny Huge Island thing.

It's two of the three Goddesses that created Hyrule.

It would make way more sense if Link is a female.

Well, in my experience, Link is popular among female cosplayers. That counts for something, doesn't it?
