Does anyone else find it odd that Luigi, Toon Link, Sonic, Marth, and Lucario have already been revealed? Back during the wait for Brawl, only the default characters were revealed before the Japanese release and the unlockables were shown after. So what's the deal? Have these characters vbeen promoted to default? Or is Sakirai just revealing characters randomly. Maybe you start out with all the characters and don't have to unlock any. That would be nice.

I'd totally be down for not having to unlock any characters. I'd love to be able to jump right in and start using Mega Man from the get go. Leave some stages and music as unlockable stuff though.

Having unlockables pretty much gives us a reason to play the single player game modes, but there are some people who tend to be very impatient with such material.

Because a lot of game data is copy-protected nowadays, if you're forced to have to replace your Wii or Wii U, you'd have to start all over from square one with your work.

People like them are one of the main reasons Sakurai and his team find developing Super Smash Bros. to be incredibly stressful.
