Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

Now THAT is an unpopular opinion.

Of course it is. But that unpopular opinion is, like, a defining trait for me.

Like I find it hilarious that most people here don't take my hate for Yoshi seriously any more. I'm fine with that. Less mud-slinging the better.

Everything.

Especially his face and his voice.

I just hope Yoshi lovers don't take it personally.

The only hate that bothers me is Bowser hate so you'll get no flame from me.

I like Bowser. Mainly because of Mario Party games though, involving Wario.

Thats because you have a very creepy sadistic view of Wario.

Where did that come from anyway?

I think it stems from the fact that I liked killing stupid-looking characters (Donkey Kong and Wario) when I was a little kid. I remember my brother and a cousin also liked to kill Wario too. He also sounds hilarious when he dies/loses. I mean, who couldn't laugh at, "DOH I MISSED!"?

I don't necessarily hate Wario at all. People tend to mix up my satisfaction of making the ugly yellow fat pile last and real hatred, which is where Yoshi comes in.

The final boss of super mario land 2 must be one of your favourite bosses ever then.

Haven't played that game but I'd love to.

Same reason I like some WarioWare games involving Wario's pain and misery

You should play it. Its one of the best Mario games for handhelds.

How is it creepy?

Wario just sounds satisfying when he makes dying noises.

Well, it's going to remind me how much Super Mario Land is neglected too. It's probably going to be bittersweet.
