Uh, if make it serious, I think it's better to choose all major RPG characters as a representive team of this series instead of some other minor generics or characters all from the same game. For example:

Paper Powers:
Captain: Cackletta
Sub-captain: Fawful
Kooper
Bombette
Goombella
Flurrie
Mimi
O' Chunks
Kersti
Starlow


Other major opinions are, Koopalings should be part of Bowser team, Warioware crew should be part of Wario team, and some missing kongs and kritters should be in DK team. Some other characters can be in Mario's team (Gadd, Pauline, Gene etc).

But these rosters could be expanded on (they should be one team like Dorayaki said but they should also have characters from each game, like Geno or Smithy (or both) from SMRPG, some partners from PM and TTYD, someone from X-Naut team, Cackletta and Fawful, Midbus, Princess Shroob, Count Bleck, Dimentio, etc.

If it's not dream roster, I think it's both unavailable and unfair to bring characters from the same game (where they had the only appearance). I'd like to see certain RPG characters that have useful potentials to be in more games.
