I swear, it's like homestuck fans speak a different language.

Right after Feferi enters the medium Eridan gets the courage to tell her that his feelings for her are redder then the average moriallegience... right when Feferi decides to dump him, saying that they don't need to be moraillegience anymore because Eridan can't pose a threat to the land dwellers now that he is in the medium and that being his Morail made her exhausted.

That's about right.

What does this remind you of.

Also, by "the icon that popped up" I'm assuming you mean the one above Jane's computer here. That symbol is the Caduceus , which is often used as the Rod of Asclepius. Asclepius is the mythological figure said to be represented by the constellation of Ophiuchus.

If Andrew was to create some alternate post-Scratch form of the trolls, what would he go with, though? It's highly unlikely, but what would he base them off of?

The trolls ARE post scratch. The original troll heroes were the Sufferer et al.

UU said that he/she is in another universe. And going by what happened at the end of the Act 6 opening flash, UU is a troll. I think there is some speculation on the MSPA forums that its the pre-scratch Sufferer, or another pre-scratch Troll. And when I say pre-scratch, I mean the sesion that Doc Scratch was telling us about.
