It would be really nice if the tall tables at school didn't rock back and forth so much when I put my elbows on them.

Of all the reasons for someone to want to interview me, I'm so glad it's because I'm a furry.
I would rather do genuinely anything else than go to my literature class today. Literature classes make me fall asleep when they're in person and I'm running on about six hours of sleep.
I'm now officially a member of Sigma Tau Delta. They're my second honor society that I'm a part of, the first being Phi Theta Kappa.
I had a dream last night where I was Luigi and I automatically wish I could go back to it just because of that.
Well, this week sure has been terrible. The only good things about it were Mr. Mart and the fact that I think I did pretty well on my meteorology exam. Everything else was really bad.
I guess I'm just feeling the effects of the season because apparently I'm not the only one who's gotten sick. A few of my school friends are also sick and one of my other friends told me that a few of his professors have gotten sick.
I appreciate fiction writing class for inventing characters/places like today's Mr. Mart, which lives rent free in my head for literally no good reason.
So I'm pretty sure I'm not actually getting sick, I think the air is just really dry. My sore throat coincided with a huge drop in the air temperature (huge enough that it went from 80 to 52 in one day and has kept on getting lower), and I don't have any other symptoms of being sick.
I'm going to be so mad if I get sick the week that I have a bunch of things going on at school. I'll wear two masks if I have to but I've been looking forward to one of these things for nearly a month and I'm not going to let some stupid sickness take me out of commission.
I wonder how obvious it is what one of my favorite parts of Wonder was.

I just realized that I've written 43 more pages of my own book than there are in the copy of The Great Gatsby I got for my literature class.
Dear people on campus: please stop running over so many skunks. It smells like absolute trash on the way into school because of all the dead skunks.
In the grand scheme of things, does it matter that much what kind of fursona one of the side characters in my book has? Definitely not. Am I still going to severely overthink what it should be? Yes. I absolutely am.
My Spotify Wrapped this year is going to be incredibly weird but I'm very much looking forward to seeing it.
Update: the open mic went amazing. People loved my story and a lot of people complimented me for it.

A real exchange I just had and entirely botched
I'm going to be presenting some of my writing at an open mic event later tonight so wish me luck. I'm really nervous since I've never actually seen reactions to my writing from anyone who isn't my friends or my creative writing teacher.
My computer, while it was in my backpack, opened so many windows that it crashed my task bar.
I crossed 500K total views on my YouTube channel at some point recently. That's pretty cool.
I think I need to text my landlord about my noisy neighbors when they've woken me up a few different times by yelling at each other and swearing constantly. Time to figure out a good way to word that text.
Dear Words With Friends: if you want me to go back to using your horribly ad-ridden app, maybe stop dead naming me in the tens of push notifications you've sent me over the past few weeks.
My English 102 teacher from last fall has booked me as a guest speaker for one of this classes this semester and I'm so excited. It's going to be my first experience doing anything in the vein of teaching.
I have a total of 45 out of 120 undergrad credits to my name at college and I'm already trying to plan my way through grad school. The earliest I can get into grad school is 2025 so I don't know why I'm spending so much mental energy on this. -
