Bleh they're all tepid sequels to game franchises that aren't dead.

Dance Dance Revolution Mario 2nd Mix
A Warriors-styled game with Mario characters
Another EA sports basketball game guest starring Mario who is able to play basketball with LeBron James
Another SSX On Tour snowboarding game but with more Mario characters this time with Guns & Roses music and whatnot
A 2D platformer Mario runner-styled game where you race others and you can use items against each other Mario Kart style

Yeah it's about time that Donkey Kong Gameboy game had a proper sequel instead of a sort of successor that then turned into a now-dead puzzle series involving leet kickass toys or something.

This isn't youtube, you don't have to clickbait your topic titles :V

Mario & Luigi: Double Dimensions aka the RPG series love letter Paper Jam deserved to be

Oh and also a Paper Mario that's a proper return to the gameplay of the first two and general creative freedom of the first three.

Also, I doubt a new console is coming anytime soon, and I definitely don't want to wait for that before getting Odyssey 2. Galaxy 2 was on the same system as 1, so if they do Odyssey 2 it should be the same way.

Though part of me wants a game that acts as a sequel to both. Odyssey's capture mechanic & big sandbox worlds full of things to do, Galaxy's space setting, different planets and gravity shenanigans used to add content in the sky as well as on land. And The Odyssey already was used to fly to the moon so it would still fit as a mode of transport. Combining ideas from both games would open up so many crazy possibilities. Of course, it's such an ambitious idea they probably won't do it :/

A sims genre Mario game. I couldn't care less if it's an actual crossover with Sims, I'd just love Nintendo to explore this genre with Mario.

Yoshi's Safari
A free roaming sequel to this would be amazing.

#2: Super Mario Maker 3 (2023).
Imagine it being a 3D Platformer maker. Idk if it would actually be feasible though.

I'd like to wall off Wario and have him suffer lmao.

Fun fact: I currently have pages for Super Mario Maker 3, Mario Party 11, and Mario Kart 9. As for the other 2 games, here's the basic gist of what goes on in those 2 entries:

Super Mario Odyssey 2: basically the first game, but with more worlds than that game, and Luigi is now a playable character with his won green version of cappy. And also, the Koopalings replace the Broodals as Bowser's main henchmen.

New Super Mario All Stars: basically a collection of the 4 main New Super Mario Bros games, as well as New Super Luigi U.

It's been a really long time since we had a traditional 2D Mario platformer. We really need to get a new establishment and some fresh material to work with. Super Mario Maker 2 couldn't hold collective consciousness for really long, hopefully indicating it's not a replacement for 2D Mario.

Ooh that reminds me, I'd also like a Super Princess Peach sequel. That game is underrated af, i absolutely adore its art style, and it's a direction I miss in 2D Mario games, both art and level design wise. I also want the next 2D Mario to try slower-paced, exploration focused levels, still with platforming challenge of course. I just enjoy figuring out a level, discovering the way forward, rather than just going right. I don't think you NEED a third dimension to have that element. SPP proves that.

We call those "Metroidvanias" :)

my idea is the best one its another donkey kong country by retro studios
(im aware theyre too busy working on metroid prime 4 right now)

Call me a negative nancy but I would've liked a leak saying E3 would be canceled a lot lol. Especially since that means no one would risk being doxxed.

Additional information on the Nintendo Switch 2.0:
*Size: 5 inches high, 12.7 inches long, and 0.65 inches deep.
*Internal memory storage: 48 GB, a portion of which is reserved for use in the system. Users can easily expand storage space using microSDHC or microSDXC cards up to 3TB (sold separately).
*MicroSD card slot: Compatible with microSD.
*Game card slot: Nintendo Switch 2.0 game cards.
*Storage: 96 GB.
*USB connector: USB Type-C.
*Also: This console will combine the Nintendo DS's double screen with the Wii U's touch screen.

In other words: The Nintendo Switch 2.0 is basically the original Nintendo Switch but bigger and more powerful.

But you didn't even list the chipset that the "Switch 2.0" will be using, yet you already call it "more powerful"...
Does Switch 1.1 even exis- oh the 12nm one is 1.1 and OLED one is 1.5 lol
As for the games I'd say a new baseball game would complete the sports lineup, and would also like an actual Dr. Mario game on there as well.

Actually, the whole Nintendo Switch 2.0 thing is just some future concept I made up that I was just hoping Nintendo would make a reality. However, if it were to become real, I bet that it would be available to the world in local video game stores around mi—late 2023.

As for the other 5 games I just added, well the thing is that Super Princess Peach 2 is the only one where I actually have a good idea for it's basic concept outside of a new story or more content, in that this is basically the first game but with Princess Daisy as a playable character and with the Koopalings as bosses.
