Do you consider the Wario Land games to be part of the Super Mario game series?

I do consider Wario Land to be part of the Super Mario saga just like Yoshi Island and Donkey Kong Country for me the Wario games should also be considered part of the Mario saga what do you think?

Only the first Wario Land, by virtue of having the added title "Super Mario Land 3", where officially they are together in the title. It's probably played a part in the series taking off, so I think the Mario name is very crucial for it that it can't really be divorced from its success.

Thank you for reading.

In my opinion, no. The Wario Land games are not mainline Super Mario titles. The only one that comes close to that category is the first Wario Land, only because it has the Super Mario Land 3 subtitle, which I'm pretty sure was only added so the game would sell more.

Wario Land is part of the overall Mario Universe™, but they're not part of Mario The Platforming Series™.

it stars a mario character therefore i'm not sure where the argument it's not part of the mario series even comes from.

they obviously aren't specifically mainline mario games but given OP mentioned Yoshi's Island and Donkey Kong Country i don't think that's what they meant

Yes, but only because Super Mario is an umbrella that contains multiple series.
Wario Land is specifically a Super Mario Land spin-off.
