Playing Mario Party alone

I have always played Mario Party alone some fans say its better with friends but i play it alone because i dont have anyone to play with besides the Mario Party games from the Nintendo 64 and Gamecube era fill me with so much nostalgia the same goes for Mario Kart i play them alone do you guys play Mario Party alone? do you think its a good experience for a solo player?

Mario Party is definitely more fun with friends and family. I only play single player when I'm going on a long trip because a round of that would kill a lot of time.

I often play Mario Party's console entries with my parents and older siblings. However, I often play the handheld installments by myself, since most of them require Download Play or Local Wireless to activate multiplayer functionality.

I have spent many more hours playing Mario Party solo and relatively less time playing with others. I never really had friends over too routinely when I was a kid and when I did I don't think Mario Party was a usual choice (back then the only entry in the series that I owned was Mario Party 9), my brother occasionally played it with me but not often, and my parents did play it with me but only very rarely. But that didn't stop me spending tons of time playing the solo mode and freeplay in Mario Party 9 as a kid, and I would later go on to get multiple other entries in the series (MP10, Superstars, DS, Island Tour, and Jamboree) which I also mostly play singleplayer.

Mario Party is one of my all-time favorite series but I typically play with my twin sister than by myself.

That being said, I wouldn't mind firing it up solo every once in a while to give CPUs a beating.

Back then, I would typically play with siblings and cousins if it wasn't by myself.

These days, with Netplay on N64 and GC/Wii emulators, Parsec, (Heck even NSO), it's easier to play with other people.

alone accounts for 99% of the time i've played because i never had anyone to play with. but that's also why mario party was not a particularly common thing for me to play because it's very much designed to be experienced with others
