Does ANYONE even read Diary of a Wimpy Kid?

It's the only book series I ever read and catch up on (besides Big Nate before I finished it) Although the books have definitely been degrading in quality. The last book I actually enjoyed was book 18, the two most recent ones were not good. Still gonna read 21 though even if its bad. There's also an insane fanfiction community who make their own fanmade books which I read from time to time (although the target demographic for those is completely different, and a lot of them are really edgy)

I used to, back in the day. They were pretty popular when I was in middle school, though I haven't read them since around book 12.

Been a while, crocodile. I was around for the original webcomic edition. My older brother had books 1-4, as well as the activity book, so I've read all of those.

It was one of the first book series that ever super hooked me as a kid. There's a story where I had gotten the first book before a family vacation and loved it, so we went to a bookstore during the trip to pick up the second one - and by the time we'd gotten back to where we were staying, I was already finished and anxious for the third.

I used to get them as gifts every year for Christmas, but that trend petered out somewhere around book eight. I still have fond memories of those first books, even if the quality and scope felt very diminished with time

I remember reading the earlier ones when I was in elementary school, didn't really read much more past that except for Double Down which I actually owned until I gave it away last year. I also had the Movie Diary for the first movie.

On the subject of the movies (the live action ones), they're pretty mediocre. Didn't see the live action version of Long Haul, which probably was a good decision because of its poor reception.

I've seen those fan books, although some of them are so edgy to the point that they're unfunny, others are actually sometimes hilarious.
