Well, well, well. What do we have here? It seems like our first innocent has been killed! I have a couple suspicions, but for now, I'd like to shift my attention away from the one who's been flip-flopping his votes this whole day phase and onto someone who's flown under the radar.

There's always a chance something explosive happens before this day ends. But I doubt I'll be shifting my vote by then. If you are really an Investigator, I'm sorry for hunting you down like this.

Got one question for the crab though. @ClawgripFan9001, if you're willing to share, what exactly happens if you pardon someone? Just trying to figure out what the implications of that power might be.

don't really have energy to write up a full thing after finishing work on friday but thoughts

Sparks isn't necessarily giving me strong mafia vibes, more just inexperience. Doesn't mean he isn't mafia, mind you, the pattern so far seems to be pushing for lynchs which is more mafia-adjacent, but the complete lack of acknowledgment of my votes towards them, followed by another immediate bandwagon vote, then a no lynch and finally a random shift to pito is just odd. I don't really know what to think here, but if there's someone that's impossible to read like this I think it's probably for the better that we make them flip while we still have the numbers to be able to afford to, rather than gambling on it later. Don't have any other strong leads to switch to this early in the game and this late in the phase anyway, so I'll keep my vote where it is. Quote me when it turns out he's the jester and we've all been played.

Besides, depending which way Sparks flips there's two posts that I think are worth a second look:

…I'm not sure if I agree with the target of BigBoom. On one hand, we haven't really seen him yet, so I get the whole "apply pressure to get him to talk" thing…

…but also, what if he's innocent? We would have wasted a day targeting someone only to end up furthering the X-Nauts goals by accident with a baseless accusation.

I noticed that Sparks seemed really quick to flip on BigBoom once he showed up. That does seem suspicious…

This immediate turnaround from "I don't want to vote someone" to joining the sparks vote train strikes me as odd. Possible attempt to deflect from BigBoom? If sparks turns out to be innocent this is where I'd want to start.

On the other hand this one's giving me "im going to vote someone else because when sparks gets revealed as innocent it'll make me look good and revin look bad" vibes

These two points would be completely moot if sparks does turn out to be mafia but we can get to that once we actually have the info

If he does flip mafia I think that'd clear revin and rose for the time being, unless there's some kind of 4d chess manoeuvre going on here I find it highly unlikely that rose would join on a vote against a teammate so early or that revin would get sparks to consistently copy his vote.

Again this all depends on what the actual flip is so for now I'll just wait and see.

I can smell the uncertainty see, the two likely candidates might be tellin the truth, but could also be lieing, but even if you DO vote for one or the other or maybe even both see, we might end up barking up the wrong tree see, a very difficult decision but....I do have ti agree with the deflection from Big Boom see, it seems very strange, although how's about we throw another possibility in the mix see? What about thay cosmic cowboy feller see? Haven't seen them in a while.

Hmm... Though I did not see him play, Ghost T looked to me like he would have been a really good rock paper scissors player. So whoever killed him probably wanted an easier time winning this competition.

Now that I think about it, everyone here wants to win this competition...

I can answer that question since this is a Location Role (roles made public), and everyone should be able to have the knowledge of what they do:

If the Governor use its power to pardon a player, that player will survive the elimination process and we are going straight into the next Night phase without an elimination. Therefore, no, the second-most voted player will not be eliminated in its stead.

Assuming you mean "voting an inactive player" and "once they become active"... Why do I need to remove my vote against BigBoom? Someone who has contributed a grand total of 15 whole words to our discussions is not a shining beacon of activity, and his mere presence does not mean anything about his alignment. I didn't see the need to change my vote towards someone I find more suspicious, and I still don't see the need now, so there it shall stay.

More concerning for me, for someone who allegedly wants to move suspicion onto someone who's "flown under the radar" is the fact that you yourself have not addressed Glitz Yoshi's vote for you, a similar move to the one Sparks is being criticized for with his vote for Tasse. Not to mention the vote made was for the reason that you yourself were showing no signs of activity today. Deflecting attention onto someone else to avoid accusations against you isn't a good look, you know.

I saw it in the first ever mafia game that I played in where I got sus because of what I had with Rose. Also, I was lucky in that not only were we not voted out that day, but also, we were able to prove our innocence the next day. But not only that but Sparks wanted to try to prove his innocence on his own. Then again, Power Flotzo hadn't posted yet when I made that post either so that vote that I did bring new evidence. But just keep in mind that Sparks and I where the only ones in the neighborhood and no one else. Unfortunately, it was some miscommunication and time that caused Sparks to post his final post. Anyways, let's keep this post that I quoted in mind for the next day phase."

Oh, dear. It seems as though we've made a dreadful error in our presumptions. Four, including I, have voted, and our deductions led to the unfortunate execution of an innocent. Apologies, formless, disembodied wheel-spinning voice known as "Sparks".

…there is no use dwelling on our error. We cannot bring back the deceased with our sorrow. From his demise, we can learn new information, and bring the true conspiring murderers to justice.

I expect players to still provide their night actions before the deadline tonight accordingly, so actions submitted after the deadline of Mar 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM will not be take into account.
