LOL, I thought you say it supports dwarfism. It sort of supports it in my opinion, I do infact believe in evolution and it does happen.Filburt Turtle said:It supports Darwinism.Fawfulfury65 said:My parents don't like Pokemon either because of religion, but I have no idea why. Darwinism as in how animals change over time? I don't see what's so non-Christian about that. I mean, I don't believe that a one-celled organism evolved into a human over billions of years, but I think that a species can change over time.Nina Einstein said:LOL, I thought you say it supports dwarfism. Bad things happen so we can trust in God more. In bad situations, people rely on God to help them. That strengthens their faith. It's in the Bible. Also, when the world began, Adam and Eve ate an apple from a forbidden tree and it made sin come into the world.superjeff64 said:To answer the topic; no. If Jesus or any other religious figure really did exist, then why do they allow bad things to happen (the Holocaust and 9/11)? I don't understand why anybody still believes in religion as there's no proof that religion is real. Science can be proven (dinosaur bones can be dug up, tadpoles grow up to become frogs and technology is part of our everyday life as we encounter it everyday).
I hate it when people like you whine about why God let this happen, he did NOT let it happen, people made it happen, God only created a pathway and told us to stay on the path and be rewarded, get off the path and be punished, but given an opportunity to get back on the path. And science cannot say a religion is real or not since science explains things that are natural NOT supernatural, and there's really no way to say a religion is real or not, it's just all about faith and if you don't like it don't believe it.superjeff64 said:To answer the topic; no. There we go! Something that both sides can agree on.Baby Luigi Lacertae said:Well, I think Jesus DID existed, but I dismiss any supernatural stuff that happened to him (virgin birth, wine to water, etc). This is sort of a deist practice. And 9/11 is actually a great event in the people's point of view where the terrorists came from.
IMO, I personally dismiss religion, but I don't go and vanquish other people's thoughts. Maybe there is a god in the universe. Who knows? It is an unknown world out there. Dark Matter and Dark Energy has not been widely studied as that of now and black holes are such a weird phenomenon that science can hardly explain.
More answers lead to more questions. Science cannot solve everything. Religion simplifies the unknown thoughts of our limits.
