I mean, if I connect, nobody shows up, but I shared my FC with a friend in Venezuela, and everything worked.

No. It fails when I try to connect to my network, and I have the key.

Remember that DS games (and the DS itself) can't connect on WPA/WPA2 networks.
They need to connect on either an open network, or WEP (which sucks, because WEP is extremely easy to crack).
Or if you have an Android phone, you can use it's build-in WiFi Hotspot Feature.

Donkey Kong 64 again.

When I first turned the game on, I went into the adventure mode. When I looked at the file select screen, I panicked because all three files were empty. Luckily, I restarted the game and it brought back my 101%-completed file. :)
