No. It fails when I try to connect to my network, and I have the key.

Remember that DS games (and the DS itself) can't connect on WPA/WPA2 networks.
They need to connect on either an open network, or WEP (which sucks, because WEP is extremely easy to crack).
Or if you have an Android phone, you can use it's build-in WiFi Hotspot Feature.
